鹿島アントラーズから海外に挑戦したDF町田浩樹と日本代表FW上田綺世がご飯をともにした。
一方の上田は、2019年7月に、法政大学卒業を待たずに鹿島に入団。4年目の今シーズンは明治安田生命J1リーグ18試合に出場し10ゴール1アシストを記録。さらに日本代表にも招集されていた中、日本代表DF植田直通(ニーム)が所属していたセルクル・ブルージュへ完全移籍している。
町田は26日、インスタグラムを更新。「綺世とブリュッセルでご飯行ってきました!そしてベルギーリーグも開幕しました 怪我でリハビリ中ですが、順調に回復してます!はやくサッカーしたい」と上田とのレストランでの2ショットを添えて報告している。
2人の姿にはファンも喜び。「最強のふたり」、「なんか感激」、「2人の対決が見たい」、「いつか帰ってきて」、「2人とも応援してます」といった言葉を送っている。
両者は10月7日の第11節で対戦予定。元鹿島の2人がピッチでマッチアップする姿を見られるだろうか。

鹿島の下部組織出身の町田は、つくばジュニア、つくばジュニアユース、ユースと昇格し、2016年にトップチームへと昇格。左利きのCBであり、高さもある町田は徐々に出場機会を増やしていくと、2021年にはU-24日本代表の一員として東京オリンピックにも出場した。今年1月にユニオン・サン=ジロワーズへと加入すると、ジュピラー・プロ・リーグで11試合に出場。特に上位4チームで争うプレーオフ1では出場停止の1試合を除く5試合に出場するなど信頼を掴んでいた。町田は26日、インスタグラムを更新。「綺世とブリュッセルでご飯行ってきました!そしてベルギーリーグも開幕しました 怪我でリハビリ中ですが、順調に回復してます!はやくサッカーしたい」と上田とのレストランでの2ショットを添えて報告している。

今夏ステップアップ期待の田中碧が代理人を変更、移籍話が進まずデュッセルドルフが不信感とも現地報道
