リバプールのイングランド代表DFジョー・ゴメス(27)は、今夏の移籍市場で移籍する可能性があるようだ。
2015年夏にリバプールへ加入し、いまやファーストチームの最古参となっているゴメス。昨シーズンも本職のセンターバックだけでなく左サイドバックや右サイドバックなど複数ポジションでプレーし、公式戦51試合に出場した。
しかし、イギリス『デイリー・メール』によるとゴメスは今年6月に移籍する可能性もあった模様。イングランド代表FWアンソニー・ゴードン獲得のための取引の一環として、4500万ポンド(約90億円)の移籍金でニューカッスルへの移籍が目前に迫っていたと報じられている。
結局、この交渉は破談に終わったが、依然としてゴメスについては移籍の可能性があるようだ。リバプールでは昨季プレミアリーグの先発が17試合と、基本的には複数ポジションのバックアッパー的役割に落ち着いているが、本人は安定した出場機会を望んでいるという。

ガブリエウとヘンダーソン口論、FAは不問に…「申告された疑惑の発言は確認されなかった」
