ドイツ代表のユリアン・ナーゲルスマン監督が、チームの成長を喜んだ。ドイツサッカー協会(DFB)が伝えている。

ドイツは26日に行われた国際親善試合でオランダ代表と対戦。3日前、フランス代表に2-0で快勝したチームは開始早々に失点を許すも、11分にDFマキシミリアン・ミッテルシュタットのゴールで追いつくと、その後は試合を支配しつつハーフタイムへ。後半はいくつかのピンチをしのぐと、終了間際にCKからFWニクラス・フュルクルクが逆転弾を決め、そのまま2-1で勝利した。

親善試合連勝で今月のインターナショナルマッチウィークを終えたナーゲルスマン監督。試合後には手応えを口にしており、チームの成長を喜んでいる。

「今日の試合は非常に良かったと思う。土曜日のフランス戦と比べて、少し厳しい試合だったからだ。オランダのビルドアップの可変性はずば抜けたものがあると思う。後半はどちらに転ぶかわからない展開だったが、最後の15分は我々のほうがはるかに良くなり、大きなプレッシャーをかけていた」

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。 2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」この言葉の生みの親とも言われるビアホフ氏は「我慢すれば良い」と会長の決定を受け入れることを示唆。日本と対戦するときにはもう使われない愛称となっていそうだ。 2022.06.21 14:30 Tue
