清水エスパルスは29日、クラブOBの元韓国代表FW安貞桓(アン・ジョンファン)氏が9月3日に行われる明治安田生命J2リーグ第33節の徳島ヴォルティス戦に来場することを発表した。
安貞桓氏は、現役当時その端正なルックスから「韓国のベッカム」とも呼ばれ、大勢のファンを魅了。2002年の日韓ワールドカップ(W杯)でも活躍を見せ、日韓W杯後のフィーバーの最中に清水エスパルスに入団すると、2004年に横浜F・マリノスに移籍するまでの1年半の間活躍した。
徳島戦ではIAIスタジアム日本平に集まったファンたちに挨拶を実施するとのこと。挨拶後にピッチを1周しサインボールの投げ入れを実施する予定だ。
清水の発表には、ファンから「懐かしすぎる…!!!」、「イケメンFWくるーーーー!」、「めちゃ嬉しい!!」、「オ・セフン頑張るしかない!」、「会いたい!」と安貞桓氏の来場に驚く声が多く寄せられている。

31日、東京オリンピックの男子サッカーの準々決勝4試合が行われる。U-24日本代表がU-24ニュージーランド代表との一戦に臨む中、ライバルでもあるU-24韓国代表はU-24メキシコ代表との戦いを迎える。
そんな中、韓国代表のFWチョン・ソンウォン(24)のイケメンぶりにも大きな注目が集まっている。
大邱FCに所属するチョン・ソンウォンは今シーズンのKリーグ1で主に右サイドで起用され、13試合1ゴールをマーク。A代表経験はないものの、AFC U-23選手権タイ2020にも選出。4試合に出場しU-23韓国代表の優勝にも貢献している。
選手としても確かな実力を持つチョン・ソンウォンだが、最大の注目はそのルックス。K-POPのアイドルを彷彿とさせるような端正な顔立ちにお洒落な髪型で絶大な人気を誇り、自身のインスタグラムでは60万人を超えるフォロワーを抱えている。その人気もあり大邱広域市広報大使まで務めている。
韓国メディアによると、チョン・ソンウォンは「大邱のアイドル」と呼ばれ、自身が幼稚園児の頃に2002年の日韓ワールドカップでの元韓国代表MFパク・チソン氏がポルトガル代表戦で決めたゴールを観て、サッカー選手を志すようになったという。
25日に行われたグループステージのU-24ルーマニア代表戦で相手選手と衝突。治療しながらもピッチに戻った際にはその情熱と美貌まで大きな話題になったとのことだ。
チョン・ソンウォンはオリンピックでここまで2試合に出場しているが、そのルックスは日本でも注目を集めており、韓国の音楽グループ「BTS(防弾少年団)のメンバーにいそう」「神は二物を与えたみたい」「優勝」といったコメントが寄せられている。
U-24メキシコ代表戦では、韓国の結果だけでなくチョン・ソンウォンのルックスにも注目だ。

韓国サッカー協会(KFA) とナイキは18日、韓国代表の新ユニフォームを発表した。
2026年の北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)アジア2次予選に臨んでいる韓国。3月はタイ代表との連戦を控えているが、その試合から着用する新ユニフォームとなる。
そのデザインについて、ホームユニフォームは伝統の赤をベースに、直線や曲線を組み泡わせた柄をシャツ前面と背面裾にデザイン。袖口と襟は、ミントグリーン、赤、黒の3色で施されており、ナイキのロゴもミントグリーンであしらわれている。
一方のアウェイユニフォームは黒がベースに。シャツ全体にピンクとライトブルーを組み合わせた模様が不均一にデザインされたモダンなデザインになっている。
新デザインについて、ファンは「ホームは生肉みたいだ」、「霜降り肉みたい」、「オリジナリティがある」、「アウェイキットは必須だ」、「アウェイは素晴らしいね」などと反応。今回はアウェイユニフォームの方が好評を得ている。

韓国サッカー協会(KFA)は30日、東京オリンピックに臨むU-24韓国代表メンバー18名を発表した。
キム・ハクボム監督は、今回のメンバー18名にオーバーエイジの3名を招集。元ガンバ大阪のFWファン・ウィジョ(ボルドー)、FWクォン・チャンフン(水原三星ブルーウィングス)、DFキム・ミンジェ(北京FC)を選出した。
また、当初招集されていた23名から15名が本大会メンバー入り。バレンシアのMFイ・ガンインやセレッソ大阪でもプレーしたGKアン・ジュンス(釜山アイパーク)などが招集されている。
韓国代表は7月13日と16日に国際親善試合を行い、16日にはU-24フランス代表と対戦。13日の相手は現在未定だ。また、本大会では7月22日にニュージーランド、同25日にルーマニア、同28日にホンジュラスと対戦する。

韓国サッカー界を揺るがすようなことが起こるかもしれない。
カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)に臨んだ韓国代表。グループステージ最終戦でポルトガル代表に劇的な勝利を収めると、もう1試合の結果逆転での2位通過を決め、ラウンド16に進んだ。
そのラウンド16では、ブラジル代表と対戦。前半で4失点を喫するなど、苦しい戦いとなり、4-1で敗戦。大会から姿を消していた。
その韓国だが、エースであるFWソン・フンミンの個人トレーナーであるアン・ドクス氏が、自身のSNSを通じて暴露。韓国サッカー協会(KFA)を糾弾するような内容が投稿されたと韓国の複数メディアが一斉に報じた。
アン氏は「2701号室で、多くのことがあった。2701号室がなぜできたのかについて、記者の方々が連絡をくれれば、想像を超えた常識外のことを詳しく伝えることができるでしょう」と、何か隠された特別な情報があることを匂わせた。
また、「今回のことを反省し、改善をしなければ、韓国サッカーに未来はない」とし、「手が熱を帯びて引かない。あなたがたがすべき仕事をしているのに、外部治療?アンとは何者だ?サッカー業界で私を知らない?だから三流なんだ」と不満を綴り、「身内を庇うんじゃない。変わってほしい」と訴えた。
アン氏は、KFAに雇われたトレーナーではなく、ソン・フンミンが個人的に呼びつけたトレーナー。顔面を骨折しフェイスガードをして大会に臨んでおり、ソン・フンミン以外の選手のケアも代表チームと同じ宿舎で行っていた。
どうやら韓国代表のメディカルチームと問題があった可能性がある一方で、ソン・フンミンやチョ・ギュソン、チョン・ウヨン、キム・ジンス、ファン・ウィジョらが「いいね」を押し、OB選手たちも反応していた。
報道によればKFAは「以前もソン・フンミンの個人リハビリトレーナーの役目を担当した方。協会が採用するためには、フィジオセラピストの国家資格証が必要だが、それがなくて採用できない状況だった」と説明したという。
果たして何が起こっているのか。今後詳細が明かされるのか注目だ。
