アメリカサッカー連盟(USSF)は11日、CONCACAFネーションズリーグ2024-25に臨むアメリカ代表メンバー23名を発表した。
マウリシオ・ポチェッティーノ監督が就任したアメリカ代表。2026年の北中米ワールドカップの開催地でもあり、予選がない中でチームの強化を行っている。
北中米カリブ海サッカー連盟(CONCACAF)が主催するネーションズリーグはアメリカが3連覇中。4連覇を目指し、最後の2試合を戦うこととなる。
20日には準決勝でパナマ代表と、23日にはカナダ代表orメキシコ代表と決勝or3位決定戦を戦うこととなる。

今シーズンはセリエAでは4位につけるも、パッとしないパフォーマンスに終始したユベントスにとっては、なんとかタイトル獲得に成功。選手たちも喜びを露わにしていた。
そんな中、優勝を喜ぶ中で1組のカップルの存在が明らかに。それは、ユベントスのアメリカ代表MFウェストン・マッケニーだった。
優勝を祝う中で、ピッチ上で美女をバックハグして2ショットを撮影。お相手はキアラ・フラッテージさん。ピンと来た方もいるかもしれないが、インテルのイタリア代表MFダビデ・フラッテージの妹で、モデルとして活躍している。

アストン・ビラのブラジル代表MFドウグラス・ルイス(26)。どうやら恋人と同時にユベントス移籍が成立する見通しになった。
現在アストン・ビラはD・ルイスの売却を巡ってユベントスと交渉中。
協議は比較的順調とされ、金銭+選手として、ユベントスからアメリカ代表MFウェストン・マッケニー(25)、またU-21イングランド代表MFサミュエル・イリング・ジュニア(20)がビラへ向かうことも予想されている。
D・ルイス本人もユベントス移籍へ前のめりとされるなか、『ガゼッタ・デッロ・スポルト』などイタリア各紙が相次いで、「D・ルイスの恋人もユベントス移籍へ」と報道。
恋人とは、アストン・ビラWFC(女子)に所属する、スイス女子代表FWアリーシャ・レーマン(25)。昨年からD・ルイスと交際しており、SNSのフォロワーが1700万人を超えることでも知られるフットボーラーだ。
レーマン移籍もビラとユベントス間における合意の一環と言うべきか。D・ルイスも年俸500万ユーロ(約8.4億円)の4年契約でユベントスと口頭合意に達しており、遅かれ早かれカップル揃っての移籍が成立するとみられている。
財務が厳しいユベントスだが、D・ルイス獲得に関してはマッケニーらの譲渡が濃厚なため、支払いは最大でも2000万ユーロ(約33.6億円)に留めることができるとされている。

アメリカサッカー連盟(USSF)は10日、CONCACAFネーションズリーグ2024-25準々決勝のジャマイカ代表戦に臨むアメリカ代表メンバー25名を発表した。
マウリシオ・ポチェッティーノ監督が就任したアメリカ代表。2026年の北中米ワールドカップの開催地でもあり、予選がない中でチームの強化を行っている。
北中米カリブ海サッカー連盟(CONCACAF)が主催する大会。アメリカは3連覇中であり、4連覇を目指しての戦いとなる。
ここまで順調に勝ち上がってきた中、11月はジャマイカとの準々決勝2試合が行われることに。ポチェッティーノ監督は主軸を中心に選出した。
今回のメンバーには、FWクリスチャン・プリシック(ミラン)やMFウェストン・マッケニー(ユベントス)、FWティモシー・ウェア(ユベントス)などが招集されている。
