また、イギリス『デイリー・メール』によれば、元ブラジル代表FWロナウド氏(14ゴール)、現レアル・マドリー指揮官のジネディーヌ・ジダン氏(14ゴール)、さらにはヴィッセル神戸でも活躍した元スペイン代表FWダビド・ビジャ氏(13ゴール)など、錚々たるメンバーの得点数をすでに上回っているとのことだ。
ドルトムント加入後も公式戦31試合33ゴールと得点を量産し続けているハーランド。今後も様々な記録を更新することになるだろう。
