元韓国代表MFパク・チソン氏(43)が全北現代のテクニカル・ディレクター(TD)職を辞任へ。韓国『東亜日報』が伝える。
京都パープルサンガ(現:京都サンガF.C.)やPSV、マンチェスター・ユナイテッドなどで活躍し、韓国代表では通算100キャップを誇るレジェンド、パク・チソン氏。
現役引退後はユナイテッドのアンバサダー、QPRの育成コーチを務めた一方、21年1月にKリーグ1屈指の強豪・全北でアドバイザーとなり、22年9月にはTD職となった。
現役時代に母国クラブでプレーしたことのない氏にとって、初のKリーグとなったわけだが、『東亜日報』によると23日、複数の同国サッカー関係者が「全北はパク・チソンTDの後任を探している」と明かしたという。
パク・チソン氏は21日に韓国を出国しているといい、現在はイギリス・ロンドンに滞在しているとのこと。出国に先立ち、全北に対して辞任の意向を伝えていたとされる。
今季の全北は近年稀にみる低迷。
2009〜20年の12年間で「8度」ものKリーグ1優勝を成し遂げた名門だが、今季は第24節を消化して12チーム中11位。ボトムハーフの6チームで争われる「降格ラウンド」行きが現実味を帯びている。
また、序盤戦で解任されたダン・ペトレスク前監督は、昨季途中にパク・チソン氏がTDとして招聘。全北関係者は「低迷の原因はパク・チソン氏だけではない」と話しているというが、辞任意向は低迷を受けてのものとされている。
ただ、現時点では全北がパク・チソン氏の辞任を受理していないとのこと。TD職の離脱はさておき、アドバイザーとしてクラブに留めるアイデアなど、選手からの人望が厚い氏の慰留に必死とみられている。

トッテナムは28日、Kリーグ1の江原FCからU-17韓国代表MFヤン・ミンヒョク(18)を完全移籍で獲得することで合意したことを発表した。
契約期間は2023年夏までの6年間。2025年1月からトッテナムに加入となり、労働許可証と国際移籍証明書をもっての正式契約となる。
左右のウイングを主戦場とするヤン・ミンヒョクは、韓国期待の若手アタッカー。今シーズンはKリーグ1でデビューを果たし、25試合に出場し8ゴール4アシストを記録している。
世代別の韓国代表を経験しており、U-17韓国代表としては18試合に出場し1ゴールを記録。2023年のU-17ワールドカップにも出場していた。
大先輩である韓国代表FWソン・フンミンがいるトッテナムへの加入。27日には日本でヴィッセル神戸と対戦したトッテナムは、28日に韓国入りし、アンジェ・ポステコグルー監督らもヤン・ミンヒョクと対面している。

しかし、クラブレベルでは不遇そのもの。
東京V時代は2年間で公式戦出場が「4試合」にとどまり、昨年1月に加入した韓国Kリーグ1・水原FCでは1年間で出場「2試合」のみ。プレータイム計4分間でレッドカード1枚を頂戴した。
そして、今年1月1日に発表されたのは水原との契約満了。A代表で50試合に出場するアルハンだが、18歳からのクラブキャリアで出場した公式戦はわずか「19試合」となっているのだ。
