スポルティングCPの日本代表MF守田英正(29)が今夏に退団する可能性が高いようだ。ポルトガル『A Bola』が伝えた。
2022年夏にサンタ・クララからスポルティングに加入した守田は、すぐに当時指揮官を務めていたルベン・アモリム監督(現マンチェスター・ユナイテッド監督)の信頼を掴むと、1年目から公式戦41試合に出場し6ゴール4アシストをマーク。
スポルティングの中盤に欠かせない存在となった2年目には、リーグ戦29試合で2ゴール4アシストを記録し、3年ぶりの優勝に貢献。今季は度重なるケガに悩まされながらも、ここまで公式戦28試合に出場し2ゴール3アシストを記録している。
報道によれば、現行の契約が2026年6月までとなる守田に対し、スポルティング首脳陣は契約延長を打診。しかし、守田はプレミアリーグを筆頭に、他のリーグにも挑戦したいと考えており、新契約を結ばない意向を示したとのこと。
なお、守田の契約解除金は4500万ユーロ(約76億4000万円に設定されているが、今夏での放出を臨むクラブは適切なオファーが届いた場合、放出を容認する構えのようだ。

「おもろすぎる笑」「このコンビ良いわ」仲良しコンビ、久保建英と菅原由勢が弾丸釣り旅行! 久保は船が苦手という意外な一面「船酔いした事ない!と言った1時間後に…」
