水戸DF楠本卓海が退団 2023年にキャプテンという大役も…「またどこかでお会いしましょう!」

水戸ホーリーホックは16日、DF楠本卓海(28)の退団を発表した。

楠本は大成高校から東京国際大学に進み、2018年にレノファ山口FCでプロ入りすると、2022年から水戸へ。2023年にはキャプテンも務めたが、今季は明治安田J2リーグ10試合の出場で2得点だった。

契約満了による退団が決まり、クラブ公式サイトで感謝の言葉を送っている。

「サポーターの方々が声を出し続けてくれていたスタンド。ピッチから見たあの景色、一生忘れません。僕自身、プロになって初めて試合後のサポーターの方に言い返すことがありました。ただ、その時からサポーターの方々との距離が縮まり、試合後の挨拶で耳を傾けて聞いていると本気でクラブのことを考えて愛している人達なんだと認識しました」

「いつも試合前後で挨拶に行くときには、自分なりに本気で頭を下げていたつもりです! この水戸ホーリーホックを一番に想ってくれているサポーターの方々が本当にこのクラブの財産であり宝物だと思います。そんな方々と真剣に向き合えたことは本当に貴重で大切な時間でした! 三年間、力になれず申し訳ありませんでした」

「変わってない..!?」前田大然の歴代プロフ写真の変化が話題「坊主の選手変わりにくい説」
