ヤマルは6日に行われたチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)のリーグフェーズ第4節のツルヴェナ・ズヴェズダ戦に先発フル出場したが、この試合で負傷したとのこと。
クラブの発表によれば、ヤマルはツルヴェナ・ズヴェズダ戦で重度の打撲を負っており、ここ数日治療してきたが、いまだに痛みが続いているとのこと。
これにより、ヤマルは10日に行われたラ・リーガ第13節のレアル・ソシエダ戦を欠場。また、今月のUEFAネーションズリーグに臨むスペイン代表に選出されているが、今後の回復具合によっては辞退する可能性があるという。
