マンチェスター・ユナイテッドは1日、スポルティングCPのルベン・アモリム監督(39)が新監督に就任することを発表した。なお、就労ビザの要件を満たすことが条件となり、スポルティングでの職務を果たしたのちに加入。11月11日にユナイテッドの監督に就任し、2027年6月までの契約を結ぶこととなる。
スポルティングの発表によれば、ユナイテッドは1100万ユーロ(約18億2000万円)を支払うことになるようだ。
ユナイテッドは2023年夏に就任したエリク・テン・ハグ監督を10月28日に解任。プレミアリーグでは14位と低迷し、ヨーロッパリーグ(EL)では3戦未勝利となっていた。
アモリム監督は、ポルトガル代表でもプレーした中盤の選手。ベンフィカやブラガなどでプレーすると2017年に引退。引退後は、カーザ・ピア、ブラガで指揮を取ると、2020年3月にスポルティングの監督に就任した。
なお、アモリム監督就任までは、ルート・ファン・ニステルローイ氏が暫定指揮を執る。

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

C・ロナウドの母が息子への願望を語る「私が死ぬ前に、スポルティングへ」

「後悔が1つある」カントナが“カンフーキック”事件を回顧「もっと強く蹴っていれば…」
