ミランは19日、スペイン代表FWアルバロ・モラタ(31)をアトレティコ・マドリーから完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。
契約期間は2028年6月30日までの4年間となり、1年間の延長オプションもついているという。また、背番号は「7」に決定した。
モラタは、ヘタフェ、レアル・マドリーの下部組織出身。2013年7月にファーストチームに昇格するが、2014年7月にユベントスへと完全移籍する。
2016年7月にマドリーに復帰するも、定着できずにチェルシーへ1年で完全移籍。チェルシーでは結果を残すも、2020年7月にアトレティコ・マドリーへ完全移籍すると、再びユベントスへとレンタル移籍を経験した。
ラ・リーガで180試合71ゴール、セリエAで130試合35ゴールを記録しているモラタは、スペイン代表としても80試合で36ゴールを記録。キャプテンとして臨んだユーロ2024では見事に優勝を果たしていた。
なお、スペイン『アス』によればミランは約1300万ユーロ(約22億3000万円)の契約解除金を支払っての獲得に。年俸は450万ユーロ(約7億7000万円)になるという。

「サッカーが大嫌いだった」偉大な父を持つ18歳M・イブラヒモビッチ、父ズラタンとの比較は「嫌だった」
