ブラジル代表FWネイマールがMLBの試合に姿を現した。昨夏からアル・ヒラルに加わったが、早々のケガで長期離脱が続くネイマールだが、28日にMLB開幕戦のマイアミ・マーリンズvsピッツバーグ・パイレーツが行われるローンデポ・パークに来場し、始球式を務めた。

この夏のコパ・アメリカも欠場となる大ケガからの再起を期す最中だが、Tシャツに短パンのラフな格好でマウンドに上がると、渾身の一球をキャッチャーミットを目がけて投げ込み、駆けつけるファンを盛り上げた。
イギリス『デイリー・メールによると、前日にはインテル・マイアミの共同オーナーのデイビッド・ベッカム氏と共にステーキハウスへ。26日にはNBAのマイアミ・ヒートvsゴールデンステート・ウォリアーズを観戦した。

フットボールから遠ざかる状況だが、アメリカでの日々を満喫しているようだ。

“怪物”ロナウドがブラジルサッカー界のトップに? 会長選への出馬へ意欲「受け入れられない」と低迷続くセレソンに危機感

レアル・バジャドリーの会長でもあり、現役時代は”怪物”とも呼ばれていた元ブラジル代表FWのロナウド氏が、セレソンの復権に向けて動き出すようだ。 2002年の日韓ワールドカップでは優勝したメンバーの1人でもあったロナウド氏。現在48歳のロナウド氏は、ブラジル代表として99試合で62ゴールを記録。大ケガに見舞われるキャリアだったが、PSVやバルセロナ、インテル、レアル・マドリー、ミランなどでプレーした。 そのロナウド氏だが、日韓W杯を最後に優勝はなし。自国開催の2014年のブラジルW杯でも4位に終わったのが最後であり、残りの4大会はベスト8で敗退とかつての強さはない。コパ・アメリカも2019年に優勝したのが最後で今年の大会はベスト8で敗退していた。 そのロナウド氏はブラジル『グローボ』に対し、ブラジルサッカー連盟(CBF)の会長に立候補する意思を表明した。 「何十年もの間、ブラジルサッカーはブラジル国民にとって、日常の問題に直面した時の逃げ道となってきた」 「これがブラジル国民の原動力だったのに、今日では国民は代表チームに全く興味を示さなくなってしまっている」 「私がCBFの会長に立候補する動機は数多くあるが、その1つは代表チームがこれまで常に持ち続けてきた、そして今日では誰も持っていない名声と尊敬を取り戻すことだ」 現在のエドナウド・ロドリゲス会長は2026年3月までが任期となっており、任期の1年前以上に選挙が行われなければならない。 「我々には最高の選手たちがいる。ヴィニシウス・ジュニオール、ネイマール、ロドリゴ・ゴエス、エステヴァン、エンドリッキ…才能がたくさんあるのに、どうして良いプレーができないのだろうか?」 「我々はこの力関係を変えなければならない。ブラジルはワールドカップやコパ・アメリカで主役にならなければならないし、オリンピックも逃すわけにはいかない。我々が持っている才能を考えると、これは受け入れられない」 なお、会長選に出馬する一環として、バジャドリーの株式を売却する予定でもあるという。 2024.12.17 23:55 Tue

ベリンガムの靴下が穴だらけ…決して削られたわけではなく…

「そうは思わない」“太った”と批判されたネイマールが反論、お腹を見せつけ「ざまあみろアンチたち」
