イングランド代表DFカイル・ウォーカーが負傷交代した。

イングランドは23日にロンドンで行われた国際親善試合でブラジル代表と対戦。後半に入っても0-0が続いたが、80分に17歳エンドリッキにネットを揺らされ、0-1で惜敗した。

ハリー・ケイン不在の一戦ということで、ゲームキャプテンを託され、先発したウォーカーだが、ハムストリングを押さえて座り込み、20分にエズリ・コンサと交代を強いられた。

26日に予定するベルギー代表との国際親善試合に向けても痛みを伴う敗戦となり、ガレス・サウスゲイト監督はイギリス『Channel 4』でウォーカーの状態にコメントした。

「まだわからないが、何かしらを感じたようだ。彼は頻繁にケガをする選手じゃないし、原因がわからない。見極める必要がある」

現時点でまだ何もわからないが、程度が重いようであれば、所属先のマンチェスター・シティにとっても痛手となる。

フレッチャーの16歳息子2人、世代別代表でスコットランドとイングランドを行ったり来たり…協会どうしが火花
