ボーフム、元守護神ルーテが7年半ぶりに帰還! 手薄なGK陣の穴埋めに

7年半ぶりに古巣帰還のルーテ

ボーフムは29日、カイザースラウテルンからドイツ人GKアンドレアス・ルーテ(36)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。背番号は「26」に決定。契約期間は今シーズン終了までとなる。

現在、ボーフムではGKミヒャエル・エッサーがヒザのケガで長期離脱中。ファーストチームのGKは守護神のマヌエル・リエマン、ニクラス・ティーデの2選手のみとなっており、有事に備えて新たなGKの補強を目指していた。

そういったなか、ユース時代の2001年から2016年まで在籍していた元守護神ルーテを7年半ぶりに帰還させる決断を下した。

ボーフムでプロキャリアをスタートしたルーテはクラブが2.ブンデスリーガ(ドイツ2部)で戦っていた時期に守護神を務め、2016年夏にアウグスブルクにステップアップ。4シーズンに渡ってセカンドGKを務めた後、2020年夏にウニオン・ベルリンへ完全移籍。その新天地では2シーズンに渡って正GKとして活躍した。

2022年夏に加入したカイザースラウテルンでは加入初年度にレギュラーとしてプレー。だが、今シーズンは開幕2試合でスタメンを務めたものの、以降はバックアッパーに甘んじていた。
