なでしこジャパンの遠藤純がエンジェル・シティと2024年季末まで契約延長!「この2シーズンは私の人生を変えた」

なでしこジャパンでも活躍する遠藤純

アメリカ、ナショナル・ウィメンズ・サッカーリーグ(NWSL)のエンジェル・シティFCは、なでしこジャパンのMF遠藤純と1年間の契約延長を行ったと発表した。

遠藤はJFAアカデミー福島の出身で、特別指定選手を経て2019年に日テレ・ベレーザ(現:日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザ)へ加入。エンジェル・シティでプレーがNWSLに新規参入した2022年、同クラブへ完全移籍で加わり、初の海外挑戦に臨んだ。

2シーズンで公式戦47試合に出場し、4得点6アシストを記録。今季はクラブ史上初のプレーオフ進出にも貢献した。

世代別の日本女子代表では2016年のU-17女子ワールドカップ(W杯)で準優勝、2018年には高校生ながら飛び級で招集され、U-20女子W杯で優勝を経験している。

なでしこジャパンの一員としても2019年のフランス女子W杯に続き、東京オリンピックや今夏のオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子W杯にも出場。左の翼、もしくは超攻撃的な左サイドバックとして地位を固めつつある。

エンジェル・シティは、2024年シーズン終了までの契約延長オプション行使で互いに合意したと11月30日に発表。遠藤はクラブ公式サイトを通じて、次のようにコメントしている。

「エンジェル・シティでの2シーズンは私の人生を変えました。このクラブの一員としてプレーすることができて、とても光栄です。素晴らしいファンやロサンゼルスのコミュニティが大好きですし、これからもすごく楽しみです。2024年にはここにNWSLのチャンピオンシップを届けたいと思っています」

なでしこジャパンの小林里歌子が古巣ベレーザに復帰…「怪我をしている難しい状況の中で、もう一度受け入れてくれたクラブに感謝」

日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザは8日、なでしこジャパンのFW小林里歌子(26)の復帰を発表した。名門・常盤木学園高校出身の小林は、2016年に日テレ・ベレーザ(現日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザ)へ加入。年代別代表のトップストライカーは、前十字じん帯断裂などの度重なる大ケガを乗り越えながらも、2019年になでしこジャパン入り。フランス女子ワールドカップにも出場した。以降もケガと戦いながら、なでしこリーグでは通算45試合27ゴール、WEリーグでは通算27試合9ゴールの記録を残し、2023年7月にアメリカ、ナショナル・ウィメンズ・サッカーリーグ(NWSL)のノースカロライナ・カレッジへ完全移籍した。しかし、初の海外挑戦においてもケガに苦しみ、1度も公式戦でプレー機会がないまま、今年3月に双方合意の下で契約を解除していた。 1年ぶりの古巣帰還が決定した小林はクラブ公式サイトを通じて以下のコメントを残している。「怪我をしている難しい状況の中で、もう一度受け入れてくれたこのクラブに感謝しています」「そして、また緑のユニフォームを着て、ファン・サポーターの皆様の前でプレー出来ること、とても嬉しいです。チームの力になれるよう、まずは早く復帰します。一緒にタイトル獲りましょう」 2024.07.08 15:07 Mon

東京NBが関浩二コーチの交通事故を報告…脇見による玉突き事故

日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザは18日、ヘッドコーチを務める関浩二氏の交通事故を報告した。関コーチは12日の午後7時5分頃、東京都日野市三沢1丁目付近を自家用車で走行中に、普通乗用車と接触。落としたものを拾おうと前方から目を離した際、前の車に追突し、その勢いで前の車がその前の車に追突する玉突き事故が発生した。前の車に乗っていた2名は救急車によって搬送され、全治2週間のケガと診断。もう1名も病院にて診察を受け、全治2週間のケガと診断を受けた。事故発生後は、警察など関係各所に連絡の上事情を説明し、事故処理を含め対応。東京Vはケガをした3名の早い回復を祈っている。また、関コーチについては「厳重注意を行い、今一度安全運転の徹底を指導いたします」とのこと。「今後、交通事故の発生を防止するために、全選手・スタッフに対しての交通安全の指導を行ってまいります」とも伝えている。 2024.07.18 18:08 Thu
