ヒザに重傷を負ったスペイン代表MFガビ。姉が弟へエールを送っている。19日に行われたユーロ2024予選のジョージア代表戦で、ガビは着地の際にヒザを捻りピッチに倒れ込むことに。すぐに大きなケガにも見える反応を見せ、そのまま交代していた。

ケガをした後、ロッカールームでのガビは「そんなはずはない、そんなはずはない!プレーしなければならないんだ!」と泣き叫んでいたとのこと。ルイス・デ・ラ・フエンテ監督は「お通夜のような雰囲気だった」とチーム内の雰囲気を語っていた。
結局検査の結果は、右ヒザ前十字じん帯断裂、外側半月板損傷と診断され、手術を受けることも決定。今季絶望という見方が強い状況だ。

そんな中、ガビの1歳年上の姉であるアウロラ・パエス・ガビラさんがインスタグラムに2ショットをアップ。長期離脱となる弟へエールを送った。
「パパとママは、浮き沈みがあることだけでなく、それを乗り越える方法も教えてくれたわ。これからは自分が回復することを考える時よ」

「私たちが付いている。愛しているわ!!」

チームメイトやライバルたちからもエールを送られているガビ。じっくりと直して、再びピッチで元気な姿を見せてもらいたいところだ。

個人四冠、スペイン女子MFボンマティのバロンドール受賞を仲間が祝福!トロフィー付きのケーキに記念パネル「これは素晴らしい」

「僕はスペイン人」18歳ハイセンが母国オランダに決別…2月にスペイン国籍取得でU-21代表デビュー

ローマDFディーン・ハイセン(18)が自らのアイデンティティを語った。オランダ『Voetbal International』が伝えている。 セリエAでメキメキ頭角を表す197cmの両利きセンターバック・ハイセン。16歳でマラガからユベントスへ移籍し、トップ昇格の今季は後半戦からローマへ武者修行…順調に出場機会を得ている。 そんなハイセン、U-17オランダ代表の一員として2022年にU-17欧州選手権準優勝などなど、これまでは世代別オランダ代表の常連。 しかし、今回の代表ウィークはU-21スペイン代表に招集…元アヤックスの父ドン・ハイセン氏を含めて一家揃ってオランダ出身だが、自身が5歳の時にスペイン・アンダルシア州へ移住し、今年2月にはスペイン国籍を取得しているのだ。 そして、21日に行われたU-21スロバキア代表との国際親善試合でラ・ロヒタ(世代別スペイン代表の愛称)デビュー。スペイン『マルカ』のインタビューでは「僕はスペイン人」と明言した。 「そうだね。僕は自分がスペイン人だと感じているよ。5歳からマラガで育ち、今回スペイン代表の一員になれて嬉しい。いずれスペイン代表でトロフィーを勝ち取りたいよ」 ハイセンをDFヴィルヒル・ファン・ダイクやDFステファン・デ・フライ、DFマタイス・デ・リフトらに続く新時代のディフェンスリーダーと捉えていたオランダ側から見れば、今回の所信表明は痛い。 2024.03.26 16:35 Tue
