ジダンが近い将来にマルセイユ指揮官就任? サウジアラビア買収の場合、就任で合意か

ジネディーヌ・ジダン氏が、将来的に故郷のマルセイユを率いる可能性があるようだ。フランス『France Bleu Provence』が報じている。

2020-21シーズン終了後にレアル・マドリーの指揮官を退任したジダン氏。以降は古巣ユベントスやパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)、チェルシーなど幾つかのメガクラブ行きの可能性が取り沙汰されたが、最終的に実現には至らず。

また、以前から指揮を熱望しているとされるフランス代表新監督の話も流れ、近いうちの監督業再開に前向きな姿勢を示す発言とは裏腹に2年以上現場から遠ざかっている。

そういった中、『France Bleu Provence』の最新報道によると、ジダン氏は故郷のマルセイユで監督業を再開する可能性があるという。

近年フットボール界への強い関心を示すサウジアラビアが、マルセイユを“フランスのニューカッスル”とすべく買収への動きを見せているという。そして、クラブを買収したあかつきにはジダン氏を新指揮官に招へいしたい考えを持っているようだ。

ジダン氏はその役割を担うために3億ユーロ(約472億円)の予算を要求し、自身が求める補強担当者の招へいもリクエスト。そして、サウジアラビアサイドはこれを了承しており、同氏とは条件面で合意に達したという。

ただ、マルセイユの現オーナーであるフランク・マッコート氏は、これまでマルセイユが売り物ではないことを繰り返し語っており、買収交渉は非常にタフなものになるはずだ。

今回の報道の信ぴょう性を含め、現状では夢物語に近いジダン氏のマルセイユ帰還だが、多くのマルセイユサポーターの夢は近い将来に実現するのか…。
