山東泰山は4日、元ベルギー代表MFマルアン・フェライニ(35)が今シーズン限りで退団すると発表した。
クラブとフェライニの契約は2025年12月31日まで残っていたが、選手側は個人的な理由から今シーズン限りでの退団を希望。友好的な協議を重ねた結果、クラブは功労者でもあるフェライニの意思を尊重したとのことだ。
フェライニは2019年2月に、マンチェスターユナイテッドから加入して以来、5シーズンにわたってクラブに在籍。公式戦通算130試合に出場して51ゴール8アシストを記録し、中国FAカップで3連覇を達成するなど数多くの栄冠をクラブにもたらした。
今シーズンもチームのキャプテンとして、公式戦23試合に出場して9ゴール2アシストを記録。今月から始まるAFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)のグループステージでは、横浜F・マリノスとも対戦する予定になっている。
クラブはレジェンドの退団を惜しみつつ、最後まで全力を尽くしてくれるはずだと選手への信頼を示した。

日本の夢を打ち砕いたフェライニがベルギー代表からの引退を発表

35歳フェライニが中国で引退へ…12月の横浜FM戦が現役ラストゲームか

中国代表で2024年急台頭の23歳MFシェ・ウェンネンは欧州移籍に慎重「行きたいけど…」

決め手は“大都市上海”? Jリーグでもゴール量産の2023年中国超級得点王レオナルド、上海海港に完全移籍へ
