マク・アリスター兄がサン=ジロワーズに加入! ポリバレントなDF

ユニオン・サン=ジロワーズは12日、アルヘンティノス・ジュニアーズからアルゼンチン人DFケビン・マク・アリスター(25)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。契約期間は2026年6月30日までの3年となるが、さらに1年の延長オプションが付帯する。

ケビン・マク・アリスターは元アルゼンチン代表DFカルロス・マク・アリスターを父親に持ち、兄のDFフランシスはロサリオ・セントラル、弟のMFアレクシスはブライトンからリバプールに移籍した世界的なMFというフットボール一家の出身。

その父親と2人の兄弟と同様にアルヘンティノス・ジュニアーズ、ボカ・ジュニアーズと母国の名門でプレーしてきたケビンは、過去にU-23アルゼンチン代表でもプレー経験がある175cmのポリバレントなDFだ。
アルヘンティノスではこれまでセンターバックや右サイドバックを主戦場に、公式戦157試合に出場し、14ゴールを記録している。

なお、サン=ジロワーズはプレミアリーグのブライトンのオーナーを務めるトニー・ブルーム氏がマルチクラブ・オーナーシップで保有するクラブだ。

そのため、ケビンが同クラブで活躍を見せた場合、昨シーズンまで弟アレクシスが在籍していたシーガルズへステップアップする可能性は十分にある。
