シント=トロイデンの本拠地にアルデルヴァイレルトが不満「ここでプレーしないといけないのは残念」

ロイヤル・アントワープの元ベルギー代表DFトビー・アルデルヴァイレルトがシント=トロイデンの本拠地に不満を示している。ベルギー『Nieuwsblad』が伝えている。ベルギー代表通算127キャップを誇るアルデルヴァイレルト。かつてアトレティコ・マドリーやトッテナムでもプレーした34歳は、昨シーズンから母国のアントワープに加入し、いきなりチームを66年ぶりのリーグ優勝へと導いた。屈強なセンターバックは今季も健在で、公式戦22試合中20試合でスタメン出場し、トッテナム時代以来となるチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)にも参戦。24日には敵地でのリーグ戦第15節・シント=トロイデン戦にフル出場した。ただ、1-1のドローに終わったこの一戦の終了後、アルデルヴァイレルトはシント=トロイデンの本拠地「大王わさびスタイエンスタジアム」、通称“スタイエン”に対する不満をあらわにした。「今後の後半戦を見据えるなら、今日のドローもポジティブに考えることはできる。ゴール前でもう少し運があれば勝てただろう」「けど、このスタジアムでプレーすることは非常に難しい。他のチームが通常の天然芝でプレーするなか、ここの1チーム(シント=トロイデン)だけが人工芝でプレーしている」「慣れなければいけない、というのはもちろん正論だが、普段からここでプレーしているわけじゃないし、慣れる時間なんてない。個人的には、ここの人工芝でプレーしないといけないのが残念だ」シント=トロイデンの本拠地“スタイエン”は1927年に開場後、2011年の大幅改修から人工芝を導入。サッカーにおける天然芝or人工芝の議論は、言わば100点の答えがない議論であり、ビジネス視点から見れば、スタジアムを二次利用するなら人工芝の方が適するという考え方もある。ただ、選手視点だと人工芝はケガのリスクが増すことは明らか。アルデルヴァイレルトにもそういった意識があるはずだ。 2023.11.25 17:55 Sat

伊藤敦樹のヘント移籍が公式発表…「願いを叶えてくれた浦和に心から感謝」、「ヘントでの新たな冒険を楽しみに…」

シント=トロイデンは16日、新指揮官にワウター・ヴランケン氏(46)が就任することを発表した。ヴランケン氏はベルギー出身の指揮官で、現役時代はシント=トロイデン、ヘント、ヘンク、メヘレン、コルトレイクと国内でプレーをした。引退後は指導者となり、ロンメルやメヘレン、ヘンク、ヘントと自身が所属したクラブでも指揮を執ると、2025年1月にヘントの監督を解任されていた。ヘントでは渡辺剛、伊藤敦樹など日本人も指導しており、シント=トロイデンでも再び日本人を指導することとなる。シント=トロイデンは、10日にフェリス・マズー監督(59)を解任。今シーズンはGK小久保玲央ブライアン、DF谷口彰悟、DF小川諒也、MF山本理仁、MF藤田譲瑠チマ、MF伊藤涼太郎、FW小森飛絢と日本人が7名所属している中、チームは残留を争うプレーオフに巻き込まれている。ヴランケン監督はクラブを通じてコメントしている。「STVVの監督に就任することは、私にとって『帰ってきた』という感覚です。ここ数日、多くのサポーターや地域の方々から温かいメッセージをいただきました。ハスペンハウ地方の人々やファンの皆様に誇りを持ってもらえるよう、毎日全力を尽くしていきたいです」 2025.04.16 20:30 Wed
