ディ・マリアは9日にホームで行われたヨーロッパリーグ(EL)ラウンド16・1stレグのフライブルク戦で先発した。チームは立ち上がりから攻勢を仕掛け多くのチャンスを作りながらも無得点で前半を終えたが、53分に左サイドのMFフィリップ・コスティッチからのクロスをヘディングのディ・マリアが先制点を決めると、このリードを守り切り、1-0で勝利した。

EL先勝に大きく貢献したディ・マリアは、チームが目指していた通りの試合ができたと誇りつつ、ファンからの愛情を感じる環境でプレーできることを喜んだ。
「今日の試合で重要だったのは、チームがハードワークし、素晴らしいゲームを披露し、そして勝つことだった。それを実現できたと思う。チームの力になれたのは嬉しいね。僕たち全員が、この状態を続けなければならない」

マイアミで充実のメッシ、PSG時代の苦悩明かす 「評価されていなかったのは僕だけ」

インテル・マイアミFCのアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシがこれまでのキャリアや今後について語った。『ESPN』が伝えている。 昨秋に悲願のカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)優勝を果たしたメッシ。シーズン終了後は契約満了で2年在籍のパリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)を離れ、メジャーリーグ・サッカー(MLS)のインテル・マイアミにフリー加入した。 新天地でもすぐにチームの中心的存在となったメッシはリーグス・カップで7試合10ゴールを記録し、さっそくクラブに史上初のタイトルをもたらしている。そんなシーズンの最中、『ESPN Playroom』で司会を務めるインフルエンサーのミゲ・グラナドス氏が自身のYouTubeの番組『Sone que volaba』でメッシにインタビューを行い、メッシはマイアミでの新たな生活についてこのように語った。 「僕の人生をずっと追いかけてきてくれている人たちがいて、彼らはすでに僕のことを理解している。僕が幸せなときを察してくれる。長年のキャリアから少し解放され、違う形でキャリアをスタートさせようというアイデアだった。そして、実際にそれをやっている」 「自分のレベルが下がっているとは思っていない。いつも通りプレーしている。でも、年を重ねているという現実はある。1000試合以上こなしているし、時間というものは誰にとっても流れていくものだ」 メッシはここ2年のPSG時代も振り返り、一部サポーターから反感をくらい、決して順風満帆ではなかったことを明かしている。 「パリでは期待通りに行かなかったけど、物事が起こるのには理由がある。良い結果は出なかったけど、僕はあそこで世界チャンピオンになることができた。そうでなければいけなかった。評価されていなかったのは僕だけだった」 「(W杯王者となった後は)楽しむんだ。僕は自分のやっていることが大好きだ。プレーすることを楽しんでいるし、今は違った形でそれに取り組んでいる。だから、他の場所でキャリアを続けるのではなく、マイアミに来ることを決めたし、これまでと違った生活を送っている。僕の性格は負けず嫌いで、競争心が強いんだけど、ある時からよりリラックスできるようになった」 自身の今後のキャリアにも言及。まだまだ引退する気がないことや、当面の目標が2024年夏に開催されるコパ・アメリカであることを明かした。 「次のワールドカップに出られるかどうかはわからない。まだ先のことだから、考えていないよ」 「コパ・アメリカの後は自分の気持ち次第だ。何年も経ってから自分がどう感じるか確認してみないとね。まだ3年あるし、1日ごとに自分の気持ちを確かめていくよ」 「それ(引退)については考えなかったし、自分のしていることを楽しみ続けたいからそれについては考えたくもない。ヨーロッパを離れてここに来たことで、僕は重要な一歩を踏み出したし、今は次のステップのことは考えたくない。プレーを楽しみ続けたい」 「僕は自分が愛する仕事ができているだけで十分幸運だ。責任や目標はあるけど、それでも楽しめている。これからどうするかはわからない。サッカーに関することが好きだし、子供たちと一緒にいるのも、教えるのも好きだ。スポーツ・ディレクターにも興味がある」 「個人的には、アルゼンチンでサッカーを楽しみたい、(古巣の)ニューウェルズ(・オールドボーイズ)でプレーしたいという考えが常にあった。幼い頃に通っていたところだし、それが僕の夢だった」 「フィデオ(アンヘル・ディ・マリア)が(古巣のロサリオ・)セントラルに戻るかどうかはわからないし、僕のこともわからないよ」 2023.09.22 15:46 Fri

ユベントスがジープ社と再契約、総額114億円の支援

ユベントスは13日、アメリカの自動車メーカーであるジープ社と2028年6月まで契約した。ユニフォームのメインスポンサーとなる。契約料は総額6900万ユーロ(約113億8000万円)とのこと。 契約料の内訳は今季終了までに400万ユーロ、来季に1900万ユーロ、残り2シーズンが2300万ユーロとなる。 ユベントスとジープ社は昨季終了後、2012年から続いていたスポンサー関係が終了していたが、再び蜜月の関係となった。 なお、ジープ社はユベントスの歴代会長を輩出してきたフィアット創業家のアニェッリ家が所有する投資会社エクソールの傘下にあたる。 2025.05.14 09:30 Wed
