カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では世界の舞台で驚きを与え、注目が高まっている三笘。再開したクラブの試合でも好調を維持し、W杯後の公式戦5試合で2ゴールを記録する活躍を見せていた。

得意のドリブルの切れ味は増しており、チームメイトからの熱い信頼を得ている三笘。自身のインスタグラムで久々のオフショットを投稿した。

三笘が投稿した写真は花束を持った写真と花屋で花を選んでいる写真。珍しい姿にはよく知るチームメイトも反応した。

日本代表と川崎フロンターレでプレーし、幼馴染である田中碧は「なんかあった?」とコメント。また、板倉滉は「薫が花買ってる」と驚きを感じたようだ。

三笘に浴びせたタックルの報復を受けた?直後にファウル受け負傷退場のアーセナルFWに闘将キーン氏が持論「精算しなければならない」
