インテルのクロアチア代表MFマルセロ・ブロゾビッチがワールドカップ(W杯)記録を更新した。
ブロゾビッチは5日、カタールW杯ラウンド16の日本代表戦に先発。延長戦まで120分走り抜き、クロアチアのPK戦勝利に貢献していた。
そのブロゾビッチは日本戦で16.7kmの走行距離を記録し、自身が持つW杯記録を更新したとのことだ。
ブロゾビッチは前回大会の準決勝イングランド代表戦でやはり延長戦までプレー。その際は16.3kmの走行距離を記録し、当時の新記録を樹立していた。
華麗なパス捌きが目立つブロゾビッチだが、適切なポジションを取るべくこまめに動き直しをしていることがわかる今回の記録更新となった。

「史上最悪」「恥ずかしい」伝統の市松模様が史上最大サイズになったクロアチアの新ユニフォームには酷評の嵐「これ以上酷いものは見たことがない」
