イ・ヒョンジュは今年1月にKリーグ1の浦項スティーラースから1年レンタルでバイエルンへ加入。身長は169cmと小柄だが、優れたテクニックで相手を翻弄するセントラルハーフだ。
バイエルンでは主にセカンドチームでプレー。レギオナルリーガ・バイエルン(ドイツ4部)で6試合に出場したほか、U-19のリーグ戦では1試合1得点1アシストを記録した。
イ・ヒョンジュは「新しい契約にサインし、バイエルンでの道を歩み続けることができてとても幸せだよ。今シーズンもチームの成功のためにできる限りのことをしたいと思っている」とコメントしている。
