元イングランド代表MFデイビッド・ベッカム氏は息子にとっても憧れの存在のようだ。

ベッカム氏の次男であるロメオは、2021年9月にUSLリーグ・ワン(アメリカ3部)のフォート・ローダデールと初めてプロ契約を締結。ベッカム氏がオーナーを務めるインテル・マイアミのリザーブチームで父の背中を追っている。

2021年12月にはプーマとスポンサー契約を締結し、着々とキャリアを歩み始めているロメオだが、自身のインスタグラムで新たなタトゥーを入れたことを報告。父デイビッドと同じデザインを体に刻むことを選んだようだ。

ロメオの首裏には、羽が生えた十字架のタトゥー。これは父デイビッドの首裏に施されているものと全く同じデザインだ。

これには、サッカー好きで知られる世界的スターのジャスティン・ビーバーも反応。「大好きだ。僕もお父さんの影響を受けている。素晴らしい」とコメントを寄せている。

ベッカム氏の次男ロメオが2度目の現役引退…今度は母ヴィクトリアさんと同じ道へ
