クーデターで延期のギニアvsモロッコはアウェイのモロッコ開催に変更

国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は29日、ギニアで起きたクーデターによって開催延期となっていたギニア代表vsモロッコ代表の開催地をモロッコの首都ラバトに変更したことを発表した。

今月6日に開催予定だったカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)アフリカ2次予選グループI第2節のギニア代表vsモロッコ代表だったが、ギニア国内では5日に政府の解散を求めた軍の特殊部隊によるクーデターが勃発。試合が行われる予定だった首都コナクリにある大統領官邸付近で銃撃戦が起こっており、非常に不安定な情勢からFIFAとアフリカサッカー連盟(CAF)が延期の決断を下した。

その後、FIFAとCAFは延期された同カードを10月のインターナショナルマッチウィークで消化することを決めていたが、ギニアの治安状況が現時点でも試合を開催する上で、安全ではないと判断。この結果、10月12日に行われる延期試合は、アウェイチームのモロッコの首都ラバトで開催されることになった。

モロッコとギニアビサウ代表、スーダン代表と同居したグループにおいて、首位チームしか3次予選(最終予選)に進出できないレギュレーションの中、貴重なホームアドバンテージを失うことは、ギニアにとって痛恨だが、両チームの安全を考慮した場合、受け入れざるを得ないところだ。

FIFA、ムニルのモロッコ代表入りをついに許可

国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は5日、セビージャに所属するFWムニル・エル・ハダディ(25)のモロッコ代表入りを認めた。スペイン人の母親とモロッコ人の父親との間に生まれたムニルは、昨年10月にもモロッコ代表に選出されていたが、過去にスペイン代表としてユーロ2016予選のマケドニア代表戦に出場していたことを理由に、FIFAから国籍変更を却下されていた。さらに、スポーツ仲裁裁判所(CAS)への訴えも棄却されていた。しかし、昨年9月に選手の国籍変更に関する規定が変更され、21歳以上で最初の国のA代表でプレーしていないなど、各種の条件を満たした場合、国籍変更が可能となった。ただ、ムニルに関しては21歳を過ぎた段階でU-21スペイン代表としてプレーしていたことが、規則違反にあたるとされ、FIFAは改めて同選手の国籍変更を却下していた。しかし、王立モロッコサッカー連盟(FRMF)はこのFIFAの決定を不服としてCASに対して訴えを起こし、ようやく念願のムニルのモロッコ代表入りが認められた格好だ。なお、ムニルのモロッコ代表デビューは3月のアフリカネーションズカップ予選モーリタニア代表戦になる見込みだ。 2021.02.05 23:15 Fri
