スイスサッカー協会(SFV)は9月1日、MFグラニト・ジャカの新型コロナウイルス感染を報告した。
伝えられるところによると、同日開催されたギリシャ代表との親善試合に先駆けて実施されたPCR検査で陽性が判明。政府の規則では通常10日間の隔離措置を講じなければならないが、SFVは2日に再び検査を行うとしており、結果次第で隔離期間が前後する可能性をほのめかしている。
なお、その他のチームメンバーに関しては、すでにワクチン接種が完了し陰性も確認されているため、通常通りの活動が許可されているとのこと。
スイス代表は今後、5日にワールドカップ欧州予選の第5節となるイタリア代表戦、8日に第6節の北アイルランド代表戦が控えている。なお、ギリシャ戦は2-1で勝利を収めた。

超豪華! W杯でも共演したブラジルのレジェンド4人がスタンドに勢揃い、その後ろの人物にも注目集まる

招集外の原因はキャプテンマーク? ジャカがスイス代表のキャプテン辞任も検討

リヒトシュタイナーが現役引退…ユベントスではセリエA7連覇に貢献
元スイス代表DFシュテファン・リヒトシュタイナー(36)が12日、自身の公式SNSを通じて現役引退を発表した。 グラスホッパー、リール、ラツィオを経て2011年にユベントスに加入したリヒトシュタイナー。右ウイングバックや右サイドバックとして長らく不動の地位を築き、在籍7シーズンで公式戦通算259試に出場し、7度のセリエA優勝など数々のタイトルに貢献した。 しかし、晩年は思うように出場機会を得ることができず、2018年の夏にユベントスを退団しアーセナルへ加入。その翌年にはアウグスブルクへと完全移籍した。そのアウグスブルクではブンデスリーガ20試合に出場し1アシストを記録。クラブの1部残留に貢献したが、2019-20シーズン限りで契約満了を迎えていた。 また、2006年にデビューしたスイス代表では、歴代5位となる通算108試合に出場し8ゴール7アシストをマーク。3度のワールドカップ(2010,2014,2018)、2度ユーロ(2008,2016)に出場した。 リヒトシュタイナーは12日に自身のツイッター(@LichtsteinerSte)にメッセージ動画を投稿。その中で｢僕は自分の将来について多くのことを考えており、サッカー選手としてのキャリアに終止符を打つことを決めた｣と、現役引退を決断したことを明かした。 2020.08.12 23:30 Wed
