選手が接触しカメラが転倒、倒した選手は無言で去るもイラン代表FWが手を差し伸べた「これぞスポーツマンシップ」

19日に行われたヨーロッパ・カンファレンスリーグ(ECL)の予選プレーオフ1stレグ、フェイエノールト(オランダ)vsエルフスボリ(スウェーデン)でハプニングが発生した。

タッチライン際のボールを追い掛けていったエルフスボリのDFシモン・ストランドが、勢い余ってピッチ脇のカメラと接触。三脚ごと倒してしまうほどで、映像でもかなりの衝撃だと伝わってくる。

何事もなかったかのように選手は去っていくが、クルーの女性スタッフは困惑した表情を浮かべている。ストランドをたしなめていたフェイエノールトのイラン代表FWアリレザ・ジャハンバクシュはそれに気づくと、すぐさま歩み寄り手を差し伸べた。

はた目にもかなり重量感のある機材だが、2人掛かりで何とかカメラを起こし終えると、ジャハンバクシュはすぐさまピッチへ帰還。こんなのは普通のことだと言わんばかりにプレーへと戻っていった。

この素晴らしい行為には多くの反響が。「これぞスポーツマンシップ」、「私のアリレザはいつも紳士」、「尊敬に値する」、「マン・オブ・ザ・マッチ」のような、ジャハンバクシュを称賛する声が相次いだ。

その後マルクス・ペデルセンも女性に様子を尋ね、問題ないとサムアップを返す女性クルー。ジャハンバクシュ本人も試合後のインタビューで、相手選手を非難しながらも彼女を助けるべきだったと語っている。

「(謝罪もせずに去っていた)その選手の振る舞いはあまり賢いとは言えないよ。その後、僕は彼女を助けるべきだと思ったし、マルクス・ペデルセンもすぐに手を貸してくれた」

なお、試合はジャハンバクシュ自身の1ゴールを含め、フェイエノールトが5-0で快勝。2ndレグは26日にアウェイで行われる。

「懐かしい2ショット!」「エモい」小野伸二がフェイエノールト帰還! 懐かしのチームメイトと笑顔で再会「この再会は熱い」
