C・ロナウドのポルトガル凱旋なし…母説得公言も代理人否定

ポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド(36)の母国凱旋はなさそうだ。

スポルティング・リスボンから世界に羽ばたいて以降、マンチェスター・ユナイテッド、レアル・マドリー、ユベントスを渡り歩くC・ロナウド。36歳の今季もここまで42試合の出場で35得点4アシストと抜群の存在感を示す。

ただ、所属先のユベントスはアンドレア・ピルロ新体制でスタートした今季、大苦戦。チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)の戦いがベスト16敗退に終わっただけでなく、セリエAもインテルに王座を譲る形で10連覇の夢が消滅した。

さらに、来季のCL出場権すらも危うく、残り2節の現時点で5位。低迷するチーム状況もあり、批判の矢面に晒されるC・ロナウドはユベントスとの契約が来季まであるが、今季終了後の去就にフォーカスした報道が増加傾向だ。

ユベントスがCL権を逃すと、C・ロナウドの世界最高クラスの高額な給与の支払いが厳しくなるともいわれるなか、同選手の母であるドロレス・アヴェイロさんが先日、スポルティング・リスボンに戻るよう説得すると公言した。

しかし、C・ロナウドの代理人を務めるジョルジュ・メンデス氏はポルトガル『Record』で、きっぱり否定した。

「クリスティアーノはスポルティングのリーグ優勝を誇らしく思っているが、現時点で彼のキャリアプランはポルトガルに行くことじゃない」

イタリアのレジェンドストライカー、ジャンルカ・ヴィアッリがすい臓がんのため死去…58歳の若さで
