ユベントスのレジェンド、アレッサンドロ・デル・ピエロが、先のポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドの姿勢を批判している。

C・ロナウドは、27日に行われたカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)欧州予選セルビア代表戦で、2-2で迎えた試合終了間際に自身のゴールが認められず大激怒。ボールは明らかにゴールラインを越えており、猛抗議したC・ロナウドにはイエローカードが提示される羽目に。

あまりに受け入れ難い大誤審を食らったC・ロナウドは、腕章を投げ捨て、ホイッスルが鳴る前にピッチを後に。さすがにサッカーファンからの同情の声は大きく、ポルトガル代表代表キャプテンの振る舞いも致し方ないという見方が強かった。
しかし、デル・ピエロ氏は逆の意見。『ESPN』のインタビューでオーバー過ぎる行動だったと述べ、サッカー界を代表するC・ロナウドのような選手であれば、なおさら自粛すべきだと、理解を示しつつも批判の声を挙げている。

「ゾーン」に名を残すカルチョの“ファンタジスタ”、デル・ピエロ

元日本代表MFの中田英寿氏が、『The Atletic』のロングインタビューで自身のサッカーキャリアを振り返った。 中田氏はベルマーレ平塚(現・湘南ベルマーレ)でプロキャリアをスタートし、以降は2006年の現役引退までペルージャ、ローマ、パルマ、ボローニャ、フィオレンティーナのイタリア5クラブ、イングランドのボルトンでプレー。 また、日本代表としては1998年フランス大会、2002年日韓大会、2006年ドイツ大会と3度のワールドカップに出場し、通算77キャップを刻んだ。 そのアジアを代表するレジェンドは『The Atletic』で29歳での現役引退を始め、キャリアにおけるトピックについて語った。 2006年ドイツW杯のグループステージ最終節のブラジル代表戦での1-4の敗戦後、スパイクを脱ぐ決断を下したMFは、その突然の引退から19年を経たなかで改めて決断の理由に言及。 「プロのサッカー選手になる夢は一度もなかったが、どういうわけかそれが実現し、ワールドカップでプレーし、イタリアとイングランドに行った。情熱のためにいつもプレーしていた。私はサッカーのファンではなく、サッカーをプレーするのが好きだった。それが私が引退した理由だ。情熱を失っていたし、情熱がなければ、自分に嘘をついているようなものだった」 「私が好きなのはプレーすることであり、コーチやコメントをすることではない。それが引退後に『別の情熱を見つけなければならない』と言った理由だった」 インタビュー冒頭で、サッカーキャリアの終わりについて語った元日本代表はここからキャリアの最初期に立ち戻り、「当時は、プロサッカー選手になることを夢見る人は誰もいなかった。日本で一番人気のスポーツは野球だった。だけど、結局、私は漫画『キャプテン翼』が大好きだったから、サッカーをやろうと決めた」と、サッカーを始めた理由を明かした。 続けて日本代表が初めてW杯に出場した1998年フランスW杯での奇抜な髪色については「(W杯前でさえ)毎日髪の色を変えていたが、海外でプレーしたかったので世界に知られることが重要だった。だから注目されたいと思っていた」と、振り返る。 その目論見通り、W杯直後にはセリエAのペルージャへ完全移籍。イタリアでのキャリアをスタート。その新天地では加入1年目から鮮烈な輝きを放ったが、プレーすること以外でサッカーに関心がなかったことが良い意味でプラスに働いたという。 「私はサッカーの大ファンではなかったし、サッカーを見たり新聞で読んだりもしなかった。そういう人間ではないんだ。ただサッカーをするのが好きで、毎日もっといい選手になりたいと思っていた」 「イタリアに来たときは、セリエAが世界最高のリーグで、ジネディーヌ・ジダンやアレッサンドロ・デル・ピエロのような選手がいたが、私は選手をあまり知らなかった。リーグのチームの半分も知らなかった」 「でも、そのおかげで自分のプレーに集中できたし、それが私の強みだった。とにかく恐れがなかった」 そのペルージャでの活躍によって2000年にはローマへステップアップ。当時、頭角を現わしていたフランチェスコ・トッティとのポジション争いで苦戦を強いられた一方、2005年1月のユベントス戦ではクラブ史に刻まれた圧巻のロングシュートを突き刺し、ジャッロロッシのスクデット獲得に大きく貢献した。 中田氏はそのローマ時代について「ローマに戻るたびに、ファンのみんなが私のところに来て『ありがとう、ナカタ』と言ってくれる」と、自身の重要な働きに満足感を示した。 その後、1年でイタリアの首都を離れてパルマに活躍の場を移すと、コッパ・イタリア優勝に貢献。2年連続のタイトル獲得を経験。そして、日韓W杯では大会の目玉選手の一人として日本代表史上初の決勝トーナメント進出に貢献した。 「もっといい結果を出せたはず」トルコ代表に敗れてのベスト16に不満を示しながらも、「雰囲気は素晴らしかった」と、自国開催のW杯をポジティブに振り返った。 「日本では誰もが、私たちがグループリーグを突破して決勝トーナメントに進出するだろうと期待していたが、それはとても大変だった」 「私たちはとても若いチームで、ほとんどのメンバーがワールドカップでプレーしたことがなかった。当時、海外でプレーしていたのは数人だけで、プレッシャーは大きかった。しかし同時に、国全体が私たちを応援してくれたので、雰囲気は素晴らしかった」 その後、チェーザレ・プランデッリ監督との衝突を機に、ボローニャ、フィオレンティーナとイタリア国内での移籍を繰り返した後、2005年に7年間過ごしたイタリアを離れ、プレミアリーグのボルトンへレンタル移籍。 自身最後のクラブとなったマンチェスターのクラブではキック&ラッシュでお馴染みのサム・アラダイス監督が率いたチームということもあり、イタリアと大きく異なる環境面を含めて難しい日々を過ごした。 「イタリアから来たので、サッカーはまったく違っていた。多くのチームがロングボールをプレーしていた。それは少しショックだった。そしてイタリアからマンチェスターに来て、食べ物の面でも違ったし、雨も多かった。そういった意味で少し大変だった」 その後、前述のドイツW杯での現役引退で中田氏の波乱万丈のサッカーキャリアは締めくくられた。 そして、自身のサッカーキャリアを通じて「どのように記憶されたいか?」との問いに対して、中田氏は「私は美しいプレー、優雅さが好きだ。ジネディーヌ・ジダンのようなプレーが美しい。スピードやパワーではなく、美しいパス、美しいプレー。ゴールである必要はない。私は優雅さが好きで、サッカーだけでなく人生でもそうだ。優雅で美しいものが好きだ。つまり美しい服、美しい建築物、デザイン、景色…」と返答している。 現役引退後は3年間に渡っておよそ100カ国以上を巡る放浪の旅に出て、以降は魅了された日本酒造りや日本茶のブランド立ち上げなど、日本の文化や食文化の発信者として活躍する48歳。 今回のロングインタビューの最後には改めて自身の生き方について語り、これからも自身の情熱の赴くがままに様々なことにチャレンジしたいと結んだ。 「29歳で引退したとき、たくさんの人から『まだプレーできるよ』とか『サッカー業界で働いてコーチでもしたらどうだ』と言われた」 「でも、できるからやることを選んでいるわけではない。やりたいからやっている」 「私は好きなことをやっている。だからファッションが好きならファッションをやるし、他の文化が好きなら他の文化。日本酒が好きなら日本酒をやる」 「他の人は時々その理由が理解できないことがある。それは私が情熱を持ってやっているからだ」 2025.03.19 00:14 Wed

“ピントゥリッキオ” デル・ピエロ氏が決めた弾丸FK【ビューティフル・フリーキック】

一体なぜ?C・ロナウドが足の指の爪を黒く塗る

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

ギネス世界記録も樹立した世界的スターであるポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドだが、トップに立ち続ける秘訣はトレーニングだけではない。 今夏12年ぶりに古巣のマンチェスター・ユナイテッドへと復帰したC・ロナウド。アルコールを摂取しないことや、厳しいトレーニングを誰よりも行っていることは有名な話だ。 今夏のユーロ2020では、記者会見時に自身が嫌っているコカ・コーラのボトルを退けたことが大きな話題に。株価にも多大なる影響を与えたとして、その影響力の高さを示した。 そのC・ロナウドだが、最も気をつけていると言っても良いのが食事だ。 C・ロナウドは、レアル・マドリーからユベントスへ移籍した際、1人のシェフを雇った。そのシェフは、ジョルジオ・バローネ氏。住み込みのシェフとして採用されたという。 まるで彫刻のような鍛え抜かれた肉体。36歳という年齢を考えれば、驚異とも言えるその姿の秘訣は、トレーニングではなく食事制限だった。 バローネ氏はイギリス『ミラー』でその秘密にてコメント。「高価な食べ物はない」と語り「健康食だ。私は有機食品と自然食品を使用している。魚、鶏肉、仔牛肉、卵、アボカド、ココナッツオイル、黒米などだ」と食材について明かした。 また、その気の遣い方については「フェラーリのケアをするように、体のケアをしなければいけない」とコメント。どれだけ気を配っているかが分かる。 C・ロナウドが好む食材は、魚、赤身のタンパク質料理、全粒穀物、サラダとのこと。タンパク質は筋肉の構築と修復の両方を助け、年齢による劣化を遅らせるという。 またカロリーの燃焼にも役立つと言い、「私はココナッツオイルを使って料理します。たくさんの水を飲むことも重要ですが、浄化されている。そしてたくさん飲む」とコメント。ただ、トレーニングもあってのものだと言い「もちろん、それはすべてハードなトレーニングと組み合わされています。しかし、休息は、午後を含め、トレーニングや栄養と同じくらい基本的です。そして、遅くではなく、夕方の早い時間に食事をします」とコメント。食事のタイミングや休むことも大事だとした。 世界記録となる代表通算「111」ゴールを記録したのも、トレーニング以外で努力をしている賜物。12年ぶりのプレミアリーグでもキレキレのパフォーマンスを見せてくれるだろうか。 <span class="paragraph-title">【写真】C・ロナウドの胃袋を支えるシェフと料理</span> <span data-other-div="photo"></span> <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/CPQf-zfpqrI/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="13" style=" background:#FFF; 「夜にマクドナルドで残り物のハンバーガーを…」今では考えられないC・ロナウドの少年時代を元ポルトガル代表の旧友が告白、当時は自分が上だったと明かす「私は小さなロナウジーニョだった」

サッカー界のトップに君臨し、世界最高峰の選手として世界に名を知らしめているポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド。旧友が昔話をして話題となっている。 C・ロナウドは言わずと知れたスーパースター。スポルティングCPでキャリアをスタートし、マンチェスター・ユナイテッド、レアル・マドリー、ユベントスと渡り歩き、現在はアル・ナスルでプレーしている。 数多くのタイトルを獲得し、栄光の日々を過ごしているが、幼少期は苦しい生活も。スポルティングの下部組織時代からの知り合いであり、3歳下の元ポルトガル代表MFファビオ・パイム氏がイギリス『サン』のインタビューで幼少期の出来事を回想。現在では考えられない生活をしていたことを明かした。 「私たちがスポルティングでプレーし、アカデミーで生活していた時、私たちはスタジアムに住んでいた。夜、私たちはマクドナルドに行き、誰も欲しがらず、売り物にならないハンバーガーを受け取っていた」 「私たちは毎晩そこにハンバーガーを買いに行き、捨てられる予定だった残り物を食べていた。スポルティングは知っていたと思う。今の時代とは違うんだ。彼らは私たちが外出することを許してくれた」 38歳でありながらストイックな生活を送り、鋼の肉体を今なお保っているC・ロナウドだが、幼少期にはジャンクフードで食い繋いでいたとのことだ。 ポルトガル代表としてのプレーはないものの、世代別では輝きを放ち、招集は受けたことがあるパイム氏。C・ロナウドとは友人関係であり、輝きを放ったユーロ2004の前には旅行にも出掛けたという。 「私たちは友人だった。親友とは言えないけど、友達だった」 「私は彼と一緒に休暇を過ごしていた。1つはブラジルで、ユーロ2004の前に初めてブラジルに行った」 「あれはクリスティアーノにとって、ポルトガル代表として初めてのユーロだったが、その前にバカンスをとった」 「私は代表チームでトレーニングを積んでいたが、プレーするには若すぎた。もっと年齢が上であれば、そこにいたのかもしれない」 若かりし頃は自身の方がC・ロナウドよりも優れていたというパイム氏。ただ、今のC・ロナウドのようにはなれなかったと感じるようだ。 「私には様々な特徴があった。テクニックは私の方が上だった。小さなロナウジーニョだったよ。ただ、知っての通り、私たちをどこへでも導くテクニックではない」 「自分の選択のいくつかを後悔しているけど、自分のことをよく理解しているので、クリスティアーノのレベルに到達することは不可能だっただろう」 「ただ、確かに当時の私はクリスティアーノよりも優れていた。彼は私にバロンドールの1つをくれるはずだよ(笑)」 スポルティングで育ち、チェルシーにも所属したことがあるパイム氏。ただ、栄光の道を歩むC・ロナウドに対し、パイム氏は金、女性、車、遊びとピッチ外の楽しみを覚えてしまいキャリアが転落。才能があっただけに若くして大金を手にしてしまったことが悪影響を与え、2019年には麻薬密売の容疑で逮捕。1年間を独房で過ごし、現在は子供たちの支援を行っているという。 また、2度ヒザを手術しており、3年間はサッカーから離れた生活を送っていることに。C・ロナウドとはもうプレーできないと語り、覚えてもらっているかも分からないとコメント。どこかで出会うことがあれば話すだろうと、大きな差が開いたことを実感しているようだ。 「正直言って、2度とクリスティアーノとはプレーしたくないね。ケガをするとわかっているし、ピッチに入るのが怖い。彼が私に尋ねてきたらもちろん行くけどね。ただ、彼が私の存在を覚えているかどうかさえ分からないよ」 「最後に彼と話をしてからは長い時間が経った。私たちはそれぞれ違う人生を送っている。彼は、彼の人生の中にいるし、私は私の人生がある。どこかで会ったなら、昔のように話すことになるだろう」 <span class="paragraph-title">【写真】38歳でこの肉体、海でも輝くC・ロナウドの肉体とビキニ姿のジョルジーナさん</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cuex9b8oP8I/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="14" style=" background:#FFF;
