今シーズンのUEFAチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)の決勝トーナメント全試合と、UEFAヨーロッパリーグ(EL)の注目試合を独占生中継するWOWOWは、試合開催週の金曜日にダイジェスト番組を放送することを発表した。

「チャンピオンズリーグダイジェスト!」と題された番組は、チャンピオンズリーグとヨーロッパリーグの最新情報をお届けする。

MCは「リーガダイジェスト!」でも出演中のHey! Say! JUMPの薮宏太が務め、解説には、風間八宏氏と戸田和幸氏、安永聡太郎氏をむかえることが決定した。
番組内では、試合の分岐点となったポイントを分析し深掘りする他、チャンピオンズリーグの全試合全ゴールハイライトはもちろん、ヨーロッパリーグの最新情報も網羅される。

MCを務める藪は「『チャンピオンズリーグダイジェスト!』のMCに就任させていただきました薮宏太です。戦術のスペシャリストである風間さん、戸田さん、安永さん御三方のお話をうまく引き出せるように、誠心誠意MCを務めさせていただきます。試合の振り返りはもちろん、次の激戦に向けたトピックなどを正確に、いち早くお届けできるよう、僕自身が試合を見て感じたことを視聴者のみなさん、そして解説陣のみなさんと共有して、より楽しくチャンピオンズリーグをみていただけるような番組にしていきたいと思います。約半年間、『リーガダイジェスト!』で培ってきたものを生かし、日々勉強しながら、視聴者の知りたいことを引き出せるよう頑張ります!」とコメントしている。
第1回目の放送となる2月19日(金)はWOWOWライブでなんと無料放送。さらに、昨シーズン限りで現役を引退し、川崎フロンターレ一筋でプレーした元日本代表の中村憲剛氏がゲスト出演する。

レヴァンドフスキに幻のバロンドール授与か…主催『フランス・フットボール』が検討との報道
