比較的遠い距離から、弧を描くような高いボールの軌道でゴールキーパーの頭上を抜くループシュート。そのお手本のようなジンチェンコのダイレクトシュートです。

◆ダイレクトループ
母国の強豪シャフタール・ドネツクのユース出身のジンチェンコは、2015年ロシアのウファでプロデビュー。その後2016年にマンチェスター・シティへ引き抜かれると、PSVでのレンタルを経て、徐々に出場機会を増やしています。

そんなジンチェンコは、2019年1月9日に行われたカラバオカップ(EFLカップ)準決勝1stレグのバートン・アルビオン戦で、美しいゴールを決めています。

3部相手の試合となったこの試合では、序盤からシティが力の差を見せつける展開に。そして3-0で迎えた37分、ジンチェンコにチャンスが訪れます。左サイドでボールを持ったFWレロイ・サネのパスをボックス左端の手前で受けたジンチェンコは、相手の虚を突き、そこからダイレクトシュート。絶妙なカーブのかかったボールは、必死に手を伸ばす相手GKの頭上を越え、見事にゴールに吸い込まれました。

ジンチェンコにとってはこのテクニカルなゴールがシティでの初ゴールでした。
