ケガで長期離脱を強いられることになったヴィッセル神戸の元スペイン代表MFアンドレス・イニエスタが世界中のファンに向けてコメントを送っている。
7日に行われたAFCチャンピオンズリーグ(ACL)・ラウンド16の上海上港戦で右ももを負傷したイニエスタは、3日後の水原三星戦の延長戦にケガを押して出場。そのPK戦では見事にゴールを決めてベスト4進出に貢献するも、太ももを抑えて苦悶の表情を浮かべていた。
後日、カタールの病院で診断を受けたイニエスタに右大腿直筋近位部腱断裂という結果が下った。神戸の発表によると、全治には受傷日から4カ月要するとのことで、来季開幕も間に合わない見込みとなった。
そんなイニエスタが16日に自身のツイッターを更新。写真とともに日本語、スペイン語、英語の文章で世界中のファンにコメントを残した。

2011～2020年の世界ベストイレブンが発表!イニエスタとともに中盤に入ったのは相棒チャビではなく…

ベッカムに並ぶ“イケメン”…日韓W杯で一大ブームとなったイルハンはすっかり“イケオジ”に

思い出の地・カタールで決断…元日本代表DF伊野波雅彦が現役引退を発表、Jリーグ5クラブやクロアチアでプレー「運命を感じざるを得ません」
元日本代表DF伊野波雅彦(37)が、現役引退を発表した。 鹿児島実業高校から阪南大学へと進学していた伊野波は、2006年にFC東京へ入団。プロキャリアをスタートする。 多くのクラブが獲得に動いた中でFC東京入りを決断したが、ボランチ、サイドバック、センターバックと出場機会を得ながらも2年で退団。2008年に鹿島アントラーズへの完全移籍を果たす。 鹿島でも引き続き主軸を担うと、2011年夏にクロアチアのハイドゥク・スプリトに完全移籍。半年で退団すると、2012年にヴィッセル神戸へと完全移籍。2013年にジュビロ磐田へと完全移籍すると、2016年に再び神戸に復帰。そして、2019年に横浜FCへと移籍し、2022年に南葛SCへと完全移籍していた。 伊野波はJ1通算281試合4得点、J2通算85試合2得点、リーグカップ通算33試合に出場。日本代表としても2014年のブラジルW杯のメンバー入りを果たすなど、21試合に出場し1得点を記録していた。 Jリーグを離れた伊野波は、今シーズン限りでの現役引退を発表。自身のツイッターで報告した。 「カタールの夕暮れ時の少しだけひんやりした空気と、4年に1度の世界一をかけたスタジアムの熱狂を感じながら、頭の中ではっきりと整理できたことがあります。私、伊野波雅彦は2022年シーズンをもって引退することを決断しました」 「運良くW杯決勝を観戦する機会をいただき、フランスVSアルゼンチンの一戦をルサイルスタジアムで体感しました。今までならどんなレベルの試合でも、常に「この選手を自分ならどう止めるか、チームとしてどう止めるか」というプレーヤー目線での思考が働いていました。ただ、今回は1サポーターとして純粋に試合を楽しみ、世界屈指の選手の能力やチーム戦術に感嘆している自分がいました。それに気付いた時「あ、選手として引き際なんだ」と悟りました」 「カタールは私のサッカー人生の中でも特別な場所です。07年10月にU-22日本代表主将として臨んだ北京五輪アジア最終予選カタール戦でハンドの反則を犯して逆転負けの要因を作ってしまった悔しさ、11年1月にザッケローニ監督のもと日本代表の一員としてアジアNO.1を勝ち取った喜びの記憶が入り交じる国だからです。そのような国でW杯決勝を観戦し、このような境地に至ったことは、運命を感じざるを得ません」 「振り返れば宮崎東サッカースポーツ少年団でサッカー人生をスタートさせ、生目台中時代にブラジル留学を2回経験する中でプロになるという目標が明確になりました。その後、鹿児島実業高、阪南大、FC東京、鹿島アントラーズ、ハイデュクスプリトヴィッセル神戸、ジュビロ磐田、ヴィッセル神戸、横浜FC、南葛SCでプレーしてきました。U-20日本代表、U-22日本代表、そして日本代表の一員として日の丸を背負って戦うという貴重な経験もさせていただきました」 「その時々で私と向き合ってくれた多くの指導者の方々、勝利のために切磋琢磨したチームメート、土地土地で私を温かく迎え入れてくれた方々、サポーターの皆様、未だにお付き合いをさせていただいている方も多く、本当にお世話になりました。皆さんなくしては、私のサッカー人生は成り立ちません。皆さんの存在は、プロサッカー選手としての結果以上に私の人生にとっての最高の財産だと思います。本当にありがとうございました」 「今後はサッカーのみならず自分の視野を広げ、最終的にはサッカー界に恩返しするような活動ができればと考えております。既に地元宮崎で小中学生に向けたサッカー教室をスタートさせていますが、子どもたちや地元に還元する活動を活発化させたいと思います」 「長年にわたり、サッカー選手伊野波雅彦を支えていただき、ありがとうございました。これからの人生も皆様へのご恩を忘れることなく歩みを進めていきたいと思います。今後ともご指導ご鞭撻の程、宜しくお願い致します!」 2022.12.19 09:55 Mon

「日本に住んで3年になりますが」イニエスタの妻が日本生活での驚きを打ち明ける「いまだに驚いています」
