チェルシー、チルウェルも獲得間近! 移籍金70億円、週給は2600万円か

チェルシーが、レスター・シティのイングランド代表DFベン・チルウェル(23)獲得を間も無く発表する見込みだ。イギリス『テレグラフ』が伝えている。

連日のように報じられていたこの移籍交渉も終わりを迎えそうだ。左サイドバックの補強を目指すチェルシーは、数々のタレントを候補に挙げる中で、プレミアリーグでの実績十分なチルウェルに白羽の矢を立て、レスターとの交渉を続けていた。

頑なに放出を拒むレスターも、一時はDF史上最高額の移籍金となったハリー・マグワイアの8000ポンド(約111億円)に匹敵する金額を要求していると見られていたが、最新の情報によると5000万ポンド(約70億円)で決着した模様。一方で、週給は19万ポンド(約2600万円)と高額であると伝えられている。

なお、チルウェルに関しては踵のケガが懸念されていたが、長期的な視点からチェルシーは問題ないと判断したようで、今後3日以内に5年契約が発表される見込みとなっている。

すでにFWティモ・ヴェルナー、MFハキム・ジイェフを獲得しているチェルシーは、レバークーゼンのMFカイ・ハフェルツや、パリ・サンジェルマンを退団したDFチアゴ・シウバの獲得にも迫っており、印象的な夏を過ごしている。
