20日、セグンダ・ディビシオン(スペイン2部)の最終節が行われた。
日本代表MF柴崎岳が所属するデポルティボ・ラ・コルーニャはホームでフエンラブラダと対戦する予定だった。
しかし、フエンラブラダに新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の陽性反応者が12名出たとのことで急遽延期に。試合開始45分前に延期が決定し、デポルティボは試合を行うことができなかった。
一方で、残留を争うアルバセテがアウェイで首位のカディス相手に、終了間際のPKで勝利。勝ち点を52に伸ばして残留が確定した。また、ルーゴもホームでミランデスに2-1と勝利。同じく勝ち点を52に伸ばし、残留を決めていた。
また、残留ラインのポンフェラディーナはアウェイでレアル・サラゴサに2-1で敗戦。デポルティボとの勝ち点差は3となったが、直接対決の成績でポンフェラディーナが上回っており、デポルティボは最終節で勝利しても降格圏の19位が最高順位となるため、セグンダB(スペイン3部)への降格が決定した。

「夫のサッカー人生が1日でも長く続くように」出場なしに終わった柴崎岳の妻・真野恵里菜さんがW杯への想いを綴る「今までとは全然違うものでした」

初招集のFW中島翔哉は「18」に決定! MF森岡亮太が「10」…日本代表の背番号が発表《ベルギー遠征》
