グリーリッシュは、ロックダウン下の中、車で外出し、駐車中の車に衝突。その現場が写真に収められていたため、不要不急の外出を禁じる外出禁止令を破っていたことが明らかになっていた。
その後グリーリッシュは公式に謝罪を発表。クラブから2週間分の罰金処分を受けており、この際の罰金15万ポンド(約2000万ポンド)ほどは大学病院チャリティーに寄付されていた。
また、グリーリッシュは事件後、昨シーズンのバーミンガムとのダービー戦でゴールを決めた際に着用していたユニフォームを競売にかけ、その際の資金5万5000ポンド(750万ポンド)を国民保健サービス(NHS)のチャリティに寄付するなどしていた。

「寄せすぎ」「コピーだ」アストン・ビラの新エンブレムがチェルシーに酷似?実は過去のデザインを踏襲したもの
