【ラ・リーガ第20節プレビュー】後半戦初戦! 激震バルサはセティエン初陣でグラナダと対戦!

2020年初戦にして前半戦最終戦となった第19節では2位のレアル・マドリーがヘタフェとのダービーに快勝した一方、首位のバルセロナがエスパニョールとのダービーをドローで終え、共に勝ち点40でのシーズン折り返しとなった。

カップ戦開催に伴い、2週間ぶりの開催となる後半戦初戦となる今節は、首位に立ちながら監督交代に踏み切ったバルセロナの動向に注目が集まる。

ライバルの取りこぼしによって3連覇に向けて首位ターンを決めたバルセロナだが、昨年から指摘されたバルサらしくない退屈なプレースタイル、スーペル・コパ・デ・エスパーニャでのアトレティコ・マドリー相手に厳しい逆転負けを受けて、13日にバルベルデ監督の解任および前ベティス指揮官のセティエン氏の新監督招へいが電撃的にアナウンスされた。また、この期間には右ヒザを手術したFWスアレスの4カ月の離脱も発表され、首位チームに激震が走っている。

その中で迎える新体制初陣は第5節で0-2の完敗を喫した10位グラナダとのリベンジマッチとなる。故ヨハン・クライフを崇拝し、かつてのバルセロナスタイルを彷彿とさせるスタイルを志向する新指揮官の下、新生バルサはいかなる戦いを見せてくれるか。なお、スアレスに加え、MFデ・ヨングが出場停止となる中でスタメンにも注目が集まる。

前半戦をバルセロナと同勝ち点で終えることに成功したレアル・マドリーは、スーペル・コパ・デ・エスパーニャでバレンシア、PK戦までもつれたアトレティコ・マドリーとの死闘を制して今季初タイトルを獲得。メンタル面の充実が顕著な一方で、連戦による疲労が懸念される今節は4位のセビージャとの上位対決に臨む。

前回対戦ではFWベンゼマのゴールで1-0の勝利を収めているが、今回の第2ラウンドも接戦が見込まれる。また、前述のアトレティコ戦でチームを敗戦から救う退場覚悟のファウルを犯したMFバルベルデが1試合の出場停止により欠場となるため、復帰が見込まれるベンゼマやFWベイル、スーペル・コパで存在感を欠いた若手ブラジル人コンビなどアタッカー陣の奮起に期待したい。一方、サンティアゴ・ベルナベウ初帰還となるロペテギ監督率いるセビージャは5-0で大勝したコパ・デル・レイの勢いを生かして積極的なプレーを期待したい。

スーペル・コパ決勝で惜しくも敗れた3位のアトレティコは、MF乾貴士を擁する16位のエイバルを相手に後半戦のスタートを切る。前回対戦では3-2で競り勝っているものの、レアル・マドリー戦での疲労に加え、主将MFコケやDFヒメネスら負傷者も出ており、敵地で厳しい戦いが想定される。シメオネ監督としてはフレッシュな選手の先発起用など、チームを前向きに戦わせる采配で後押ししたい。

対して新年初戦となったバレンシア戦で見せ場を作れなかった乾だが、直近のコパ・デル・レイでは主力と共に温存されておりアトレティコ戦でも引き続きスタメン起用が濃厚だ。疲れの残る格上相手に果敢に仕掛けて2020年初ゴールを奪いたい。

また、8戦連続スタメン出場もチームは6戦未勝利で降格圏の18位に転落したマジョルカのFW久保建英は、6位に浮上してきた格上バレンシアと対戦する。乾同様に直近のコパ・デル・レイでは温存されており、サウジアラビア帰りの対戦相手に対して、よりフレッシュな状態で戦えるはずだ。

「美しいユニフォーム」「これは好き」ドルトムントが本拠地の50周年を祝った特別ユニフォームを発表! 喜ぶファンからは悲鳴も「何枚買わせるつもりだ」

「相手に恐怖を与える赤」ストイコビッチ監督率いるセルビアがユーロ用のユニフォームを発表!アウェイは「大会で最も優れたデザインの 1 つ」

「有刺鉄線?」珍しいストライプには困惑も?前回大会8強のスイスがユーロ用の新ユニフォームを発表

チェコ代表がユーロ用の新ユニフォームを発表!アウェイは史上最強と名高い2004年のデザインをイメージ
