来シーズンの新指揮官に3年間シャフタールを率いたパウロ・フォンセカ氏を招へいしたローマ。同氏はシャフタール時代の教え子であるフレッジをレンタル移籍で獲得することを画策しており、すでに個人合意にも至っているようだ。
そのフレッジは昨夏に推定移籍金5200万ポンドでシャフタールからユナイテッドへ加入。しかし、公式戦25試合のみの出場に留まるなど、プレミアリーグに適応できず金額に見合う活躍ができなかった。
そうしたことからオーレ・グンナー・スールシャール監督はブラジル代表MFの放出を容認しているという。しかし、ユナイテッドは完全移籍での売却を望んでおり、移籍金満額を回収したいと考えているとのことだ。

チームの死活問題を解決するため、プレミアリーグのクラブが一致団結するようだ。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が報じた。 10月のインターナショナル・マッチウィークが終了し、再び各国でリーグ戦が再開する今週末。ヨーロッパではUEFAネーションズリーグ ファイナルズが行われた他、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)の予選が各大陸で行われている。 各選手が自国のW杯出場を目指して予選を戦い、続々とチームに合流している中、新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の感染拡大の影響で日程消化が遅れている、南米と北中米カリブ海の予選の日程が変更。13日、14日も予選が行われることとなった。 週末に試合がある中で、木曜日に予選を戦うため、南米の代表選手のチーム合流がギリギリになる状況。ラ・リーガでは、影響が出るチームの試合日程を変更。レアル・マドリーvsアスレティック・ビルバオ、グラナダvsアトレティコ・マドリーの2試合が延期となっていた。 同様に南米選手の合流が遅れることとなったプレミアリーグだが、試合日程はズラせず。また、チャーター機を飛ばすことなれば、10万ポンド(約1550万円)以上の費用がかかることとなり、各クラブが頭を悩ませている。 そんな中、主力選手を派遣しているクラブがタッグを組んでプライベートジェットを飛ばす計画があるとのこと。すでに手配をしているという。 14日に行われる南米予選では、ブラジル代表とウルグアイ代表が対戦。その2チームにはプレミアリーグから9選手が派遣されており、各チームが手を組むようだ。 南米予選には、シティがブラジル代表にGKエデルソンとFWガブリエウ・ジェズス、リバプールがブラジル代表にGKアリソン・ベッカーとMFファビーニョ、ユナイテッドがブラジル代表にMFフレッジとウルグアイ代表にFWエディンソン・カバーニを派遣。その他、リーズ・ユナイテッドがブラジル代表にFWハフィーニャ、チェルシーがブラジル代表にDFチアゴ・シウバ、アストン・ビラがブラジル代表にMFドウグラス・ルイスを派遣している。なお、アストン・ビラは守護神のGKエミリアーノ・マルティネスをアルゼンチン代表へと派遣している。 いずれの選手もクラブの試合は土曜日に行われ、一番早いのはリバプールが日本時間の16日20時30分キックオフに。ブラジル代表の試合後、35時間でのキックオフに。最も離れていてもチェルシーの40時間と、ほとんど差はない状況だ。 なお、この9名はクラブの試合開催地に合わせて2手に分かれることが検討されている。 ブラジルとウルグアイ以外にも選手は派遣されており、トッテナムはアルゼンチン代表にMFジオバニ・ロ・チェルソ、DFクリスティアン・ロメロ、コロンビア代表にDFダビンソン・サンチェスに加え、ブラジル代表にDFエメルソン・ロイヤルと4名も派遣。試合は日曜日にニューカッスルで行われるため、4選手をまとめてプライベートジェットに乗せる計画のようだ。なお、対戦するニューカッスルはパラグアイ代表にMFミゲル・アルミロンを派遣している。 9月の代表活動では、イギリスからのレッドリスト国に指定されていたため、帰国後の検疫期間が設けられるとともに、代表参加したことで処分が下されることに。しかし、10月に向けてはレッドリストから外れた国があるため、検疫期間を設けなくても良くなっている。 なお、コロンビアはレッドリストに載っているため、ダビンソン・サンチェスやエバートンのDFジェリー・ミナ、ブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオンのMFジェレミー・サルミエントは帰国後に検疫期間が設けられることとなる。 コロナ禍での国をまたいだ移動に関しては各国で対応が様々。W杯予選を戦うという義務がある中で、そのために選手たちは戦っているが、クラブとの兼ね合いはまだまだ難しいものを強いられることになりそうだ。 2021.10.14 16:15 Thu

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

グリーンウッドがもうすぐパパに! 昨年の逮捕で選手生活ストップ中…今夏が人生の分岐点
