女子W杯優勝メンバーであるアメリカ女子代表選手2名が婚約を発表

アメリカ女子代表として2015年の女子ワールドカップを制したメンバーでもあるDFアリ・クリーガーとGKアシュリン・ハリスが婚約を発表した。イギリス『BBC』が報じた。

クリーガーとハリスは、アメリカの女子プロリーグNWSLのオーランド・プライドに所属する選手。アメリカ女子代表としてもプレーし、クリーガーは98試合に出場、ハリスも正守護神であるGKホープ・ソロがいながら20試合に出場していた。

2人は、10年前ごろに代表チームで一緒になった際、デートをしている場面が目撃されていた。これまではカップルであることを公にはしてこなかったが、「チームメイトやチームの邪魔にならないように静かに保ってきた」とハリスがコメントしている。

交際から9年が経過し、2人は結婚することに決めたと発表。また、オーランド・プライドのファンたちは2人のカップルをクリーガートアシュリンからとり、“Krashlyn(クラシュリン)”の愛称で呼んでいる。

なお、正式な結婚に関しては、今夏の女子ワールドカップを待つとのことだ。

アメリカで史上最年少13歳のプロ選手が誕生! 北米スポーツ界でも最年少記録に

ユベントス、クアドラードの後継者に“リベリアの怪人”2世? 伊紙が攻撃への貢献度を疑問視
