マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのセルヒオ・ロメロは、新たにチームを率いるオレ・グンナー・スールシャール監督を称賛した。
今シーズン、ユナイテッドは不安定な戦いが続き、12月中旬に選手との間にもトラブルを抱えていたジョゼ・モウリーニョ前監督を解任。その後任として現役時代にオールド・トラッフォードで活躍したスールシャール監督の招聘に踏み切った。
スールシャール監督が就任後、チームは生まれ変わったかのように好調を続け、現在公式戦5連勝と勢いに乗る。2013年のアレックス・ファーガソン氏が退任して以降初となる1試合に5ゴールを挙げるなど上向くチーム状態を受け、GKロメロはクラブの公式ウェブサイトでノルウェー人指揮官に賛辞を送った。

元マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのスポーツディレクター(SD)、ダン・アシュワース氏が、イングランドサッカー協会(FA)に復帰することになった。 FAは14日、アシュワース氏が新設のチーフ・フットボール・オフィサーに就任すると発表。同職ではイングランド代表の男女チームと緊密に連携していくことになるという。 昨年12月にユナイテッドのSDをわずか5カ月で退任したアシュワース氏。それ以前にはブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオン、ニューカッスルで手腕を発揮しており、国内外のクラブからのオファーも想定されていたが、2018年まで6年間に渡って勤務していたFAに復帰することになった。 アシュワース氏は、セント・ジョージズ・パークの再開発を監督し、2028年に開催されるユーロ2028の共催に向け、競技施設とピッチの改善を目指す。 さらに、この新役職は、男子フットボールのテクニカルディレクターであるジョン・マクダーモット氏と緊密に連携するとともに、FAの最高経営責任者(CEO)であるマーク・ブリンガム氏とも連携する。 また、イングランド国内の地元出身のコーチの育成にも携わる予定だという。 2025.05.15 16:30 Thu

ユナイテッドの組織改革続く! 新TDにサウサンプトンからウィルコックスFDを招へい

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす
