▽欧州サッカー連盟(UEFA)に加盟する国々が、ランキングを下にリーグを形成し戦う新たな大会、UEFAネーションズリーグ。9月に開幕したネーションズリーグは、各リーグ戦の全日程が終了し、昇降格が決定した。
▽リーグAからDまでUEFAランキングによって各国が振り分けられ、リーグA、Bには12カ国が参加。Cには15カ国、Dには16カ国が参加した。それぞれのリーグは4つのグループに分かれ、リーグAの各グループ首位は決勝トーナメントに進出。その他のリーグは、グループ首位が昇格、最下位が降格する。
▽既に決勝トーナメントに進む4カ国は決定。オランダ代表、スイス代表、ポルトガル代表、イングランド代表が進出する。
▽20日に行われたリーグB・グループ2のスウェーデン代表vsロシア代表は、スウェーデンがビクトル・リンデロフ、マーカス・ベリのゴールで2-0と勝利。この結果、スウェーデンがロシアを抜きグループ首位となり、リーグAに昇格した。
▽また、リーグC・グループ1では、首位のスコットランド代表と2位のイスラエル代表が対戦し、3-2でスコットランドが勝利。この結果、スコットランドがリーグBに昇格している。
▽リーグDのグループ3では昇格を争うコソボ代表とアゼルバイジャン代表が対戦。コソボが4-0で快勝し、リーグCへ昇格を決めた。その他、ジョージア代表(グループ1)、ベラルーシ代表(グループ2)、マケドニア代表(グループ4)が昇格を決めている。

「今までで最も酷い」「複雑な気持ち」太陽をイメージしたスウェーデン代表の新ユニフォームが大不評「一体どうすればこんなにも間違うのか」
