「イングランドは若くて、モチベーションの高いチームだ。それに、スター選手も多数いるし、お気に入りのチームだよ。ただし、それはトーナメントの前時点の話だけどね」
かつて、レスターでプレーしたクラマリッチにとっては、元同僚ジェイミー・ヴァーディと再会することになる。その点について聞かれると「ヴァーディはとてもいいやつだ。僕らはレスターでいつもポジティブな話をしていたし、僕にとっては素晴らしい思い出だよ」と発言。

「史上最悪」「恥ずかしい」伝統の市松模様が史上最大サイズになったクロアチアの新ユニフォームには酷評の嵐「これ以上酷いものは見たことがない」
