このワールドカップがあったから僕のサッカー人生があるようなもんです。ここでサッカーを始めました。ベッカム選手、中田英寿選手がとかにかく自分の中で印象があって、僕も背番号“7”にこだわりました。
──今、いちばん注⽬している選⼿は?
日本代表:原口元気
デビュー当時から見ていて知ってますが今のプレースタイルが好みです。守備も献身的で運動量が多くてすごいのひと言です。見ていて熱くなれるサッカー選手です。
──サッカーを観戦するうえでのこだわりは?
自分が現役だった時はあります! ボールを持っていない選手の動きを見ることですね。サッカーは90分あってそのうち自分がボールに触れている時間は数分しかないんです。数分以外はボールに触れていない時間。ボールに触れる前にどんなことをしてるのか見るのも面白いですよ。今は基本何も考えずボールを目で追ってます(笑)。
──観戦はひとり派? それともみんなでワイワイ派?
ひとりでテレビで観るのも好きです、しっかり観れるので。でも会場に行って皆で声出して生で観るのがおすすめです。臨場感が全然違う!
──記憶に残っている試合(W杯にかかわらず)は?
002年 日韓ワールドカップ予選リーグ、僕の地元札幌ドームで行われたイングランド対アルゼンチン戦。1-0でイングランド勝ち。その一点はベッカムのPK。テレビで観てましたが、今でもはっきり覚えてます。過去にアルゼンチン戦で退場処分を受けたベッカムが因縁を晴らした試合。勇気をもらえます。
──“ここいちばん!”という勝負時に聴きたい(または頭の中で鳴っている)曲は?
本気で答えると、ACIDMANの「REMIND」という曲です。なんか流れてる気がします。でもこれサッカーには関係なく、小さい頃から大好きだったスノーボードの大会のテーマソングでとても頭に焼きついてる曲です。勝負の時に頭の中で流れてるかも。本気で答えた結果です(笑)。
──サッカーにまつわる写真のエピソードを教えてください
これは全部小学校の頃。全員2002年日韓で影響受けてサッカーはじめてクラブに入った仲間です(※大隅7番)。

日本代表の背番号11/六川亨の日本サッカー見聞録
アジアカップはカタール代表の初優勝で終わり、5度目の戴冠を期待された日本代表は残念ながら準優勝に終わった。準決勝のイラン代表戦では今大会でベストのパフォーマンスから3-0の快勝を収めただけに、後手に回った決勝戦での前半の戦いぶりが悔やまれる。 そのカタール戦、ハーフタイムに控えの選手がピッチでボールを蹴っていたが、乾貴士と遠藤航の姿がなかった。0-2とリードされていただけに、「後半から乾と遠藤の2枚替えか。遠藤がボランチに戻れば守備を立て直すことができるが、体調は大丈夫なのか?」と期待したものの、森保一監督は動かなかった。 最初の交代カードは後半16分、原口元気に代えて武藤嘉紀を起用した。すると19分と21分に武藤が立て続けにヘッドでゴールを狙ったものの、シュートはクロスバーを越え、同点のチャンスを逃してしまった。決めていれば2011年カタール大会決勝の李忠成のようなヒーローになれただけに、武藤にとっては悔いの残るシュートだっただろう。 ただ、最初の交代カードで武藤を抜擢したが、彼の武器であるスピードはスペースがあってこと生きるタイプだ。カタールは自陣のゴール前を固めてカウンター狙いだったため、ゴールをこじ開けるにはクロスに対しガムシャラに飛び込む北川航也の方が効果的ではなかったかと疑問が残る。 それまで5試合に起用し、サブ組のFWでは最長の出場時間だっただけに、なぜ最後までベンチに温存したのか。北川が森保監督の期待に応えることができなかったと言われればそれまでだし、結果論にすぎないという反論もあることは百も承知だ。 そして改めて思うのは、北川は運がないということ。それは北川だけに限らず、今回彼が背負った日本代表の「背番号11」はなぜか結果に恵まれないということだ。 北川の前に「背番号11」を背負っていた選手が誰かと聞かれても、即答できるファンは数少ないのではないだろうか。ロシアW杯での「背番号11」は宇佐美貴史だったが、ほとんど活躍できなかった。 その前は豊田陽平であり、その前はというと柿谷曜一朗、原口元気、ハーフナー・マイク、前田遼一、玉田圭司、播戸竜二、佐藤寿人、巻誠一郎、鈴木隆行、黒部光昭、松井大輔、鈴木隆行、中山雅史、三浦淳寛、呂比須ワグナー、小野伸二、三浦知良らが「背番号11」を背負ってきた。 彼らの中で記憶に残るゴールを決めた選手となると、2002年日韓W杯の初戦ベルギー代表戦(2-2)で同点ゴールを決め、W杯で初めて勝点1をもたらした鈴木くらいではないだろうか。あとは“キング・カズ”の存在感が圧倒的だった。 もともと「背番号11」は左ウイングに与えられるナンバーだったものの、ポジションが流動化した現代サッカーでは9番と10番と同様に攻撃的な選手、ストライカーに与えられる番号でもある。にもかかわらず、日本代表の歴代「11番」は、カズ以降ストライカーとしての輝きを放てていない。 果たして3月に再招集される森保ジャパンにおいて、誰が「背番号11」を受け継ぐのか。そしてゴールという結果を出すことができるのか。23人のメンバーとともに注目したいと思っている。 2019.02.05 16:45 Tue

9試合3ゴールのC大阪18歳FW北野颯太が若手の登竜門「ニューヒーロー賞」を受賞

得点ランク歴代3位の岡崎慎司が今季限りで引退/六川亨の日本サッカーの歩み
元日本代表FWで、現在はベルギーのシント=トロイデンでプレーしている岡崎慎司が今シーズン限りで現役引退を決断したと知人からLINEがあった。(注:その後に引退が公式発表) 滝川二高から清水へ入団したのが2005年のこと。以来シュツットガルト、マインツ、レスターなどヨーロッパのクラブで活躍を続け、20年の長きに渡りストライカーとしてゴールを狙い続けた。マインツでは2シーズン連続して2ケタ得点を記録し、レスターでは主力選手としてクラブのプレミアリーグ初優勝に貢献。 174センチ、76キロと体格に恵まれていたわけでもなければ、飛び抜けて足が速いとか、華麗なテクニックの持ち主でもなかった。ひらすら泥臭くゴールに突進し、身体ごと押し込むようなワンタッチでのプレーが代名詞でもあった。日本代表の試合に出場するため帰国するたびに、身体が一回り大きくなっているのを実感したものだ。それだけ努力を重ねたのだろう。 2007年の北京五輪にU-23日本代表として国際舞台にデビューすると、翌年には日本代表にも選出され、代表初ゴールは2009年1月のアジアカップ予選イエメン戦だった。この09年は16試合出場で15ゴールを奪い、世界得点ランキング1位に輝いている。こうして2019年まで日本代表として積み重ねた得点数は歴代3位の50ゴール(119試合出場)に達した。 歴代1位は言わずと知れた釜本邦茂の75ゴールで、76試合に出場での記録だけに突出した得点率であることがわかる。2位はキング・カズの55ゴールで、4位が本田圭佑と「アジアの核弾頭」と言われた原博実の37ゴールだから、岡崎の数字がいかに凄いかを物語っている。 釜本やカズ、原らの記録は東南アジアの弱小国から固め取りをできた時代でもあった。しかしW杯に連続して出場するようになってから、日本はアジア予選でも1次ではなく2次から出場するなど対戦相手のレベルも上がっている。そうした中での岡崎や本田の記録だけに、1点の重みが違うと言えるだろう。 ちなみに森保ジャパンの得点ランキングでは、1月のアジアカップで2点を加えた南野拓実の20ゴールがトップで13位、伊東純也が13ゴールで21位、4得点だった上田綺世が11ゴールで25位タイ(原口元気や中田英寿、久保竜彦ら)、浅野拓磨が9ゴールで36位タイ(奥寺康彦、福田正博、名波浩ら)、1ゴールだった堂安律が8ゴールで43位タイ、三笘薫、鎌田大地、田中碧の3人が7ゴールで47位タイとなっている。 そして代表復帰を望む声の多い大迫勇也は25ゴールで9位、まだ現役を続けていて北京五輪のメンバーだった香川真司が31ゴールで6位にランクインしている。 2024.02.26 19:30 Mon

ロナウドが日韓W杯での“大五郎カット”を謝罪、奇抜な髪型の裏事情とは?
