開幕前はブラジルでしたが、予選リーグのポルトガルの試合を観ていて、とてもクオリティの高い試合をしていたので初優勝十分にあり得ると思います。エースC.ロナウドのコンディションも抜群、組織としての戦い方、約束事もハッキリして、チームとしての精度が非常に高い。
──思い出のワールドカップは? また、その理由は
1998年 フランス大会
全試合ビデオテープに録画し、研究の日々でした。当時僕は小学4年生。中田英寿選手に憧れて、プレー、走り方、喋り方、言動をマネしていました。

両方好きです。みんなでワイワイの場合は観客目線。ひとりならプレイヤー目線って感じですね。

名古屋グランパス2016.2017シーズンのオフィシャルサポートソングとして書き下ろした一曲。僕は選手としての気持ちも、サポーターとしての気持ちもわかる人間だと思ってます。そんな自分にしか書けない曲を作りたいと思って書きました。今もライブで演奏する大切な一曲です。
──サッカーにまつわる写真のエピソードを教えてください
中学3年生、名古屋グランパスユースで愛知県大会優勝した時の集合写真。この大会で僕は全試合フル出場、優秀選手にも選出されました。当時僕は深刻なスランプ状態。その中で、仲間とスタッフに支えられ乗り越えたあの感覚は、今もバンド活動に活かされています。
そしてこの中には、吉田麻也選手を筆頭に今もプロとして活躍してる選手がたくさんいます。僕も音楽のプロとして、この写真を見るたびに「負けられない」と奮い立たされる大切な一枚です。

神戸エース、大迫勇也の状態良し! 開幕迫る今季に「またいいシーズンにしたい」
今季も活躍が期待できそうだ。 J1連覇を目指すヴィッセル神戸はアジアツアーで来日のインテル・マイアミと7日の国立競技場で激突。0-0の末に行われたPK戦を4-3で制して勝利した。 フル出場した大迫勇也はゴールなしに終わったが、前半から左右ポストを叩くシュートを放つなど存在感。PK戦では一番手に名乗りを上げ、豪快に決め切った。 試合自体はリオネル・メッシら元バルセロナカルテットもしっかりと出場したが、観客数は伸びず。2万8614人ほどだったが、神戸のエースは大いに魅了した。 早くも状態の良さをうかがわせるが、「まずはケガをしないことが一番という考えだった」ときっぱり。17日のFUJIFILM SUPER CUP 2024を意識した。 「欲を言うと、点を取りたかったけど、公式戦は2週間? 10日後なので、そこに標準を合わせていきたい」 周りとの連携やイメージの共有も良好。本人も手応えを感じているようで、いくつかの決定機を外したが、「まだまだ親善試合」とシーズンを見据えた。 「シーズンはまだ始まっていない。シーズン中だったら、叩いてもらって結構ですけど…(笑) これからチームのためにああいう場面で決め切る選手になっていきたい」 昨季のJ1リーグ得点王であり、最優秀選手は今年5月に34歳の誕生日を迎えるが、6日には2026年まで契約延長。オフにはアメリカで吉田麻也と自主トレに励んだ。 「本当に身体作りが楽しくなってきた。その成果かなと。ただ、それをしただけで結果が出るような世界でもないし、グラウンドでフィットさせていかないといけない」 そう引き締めるなか、自主トレの充実ぶりを問われると、「楽しかったですよ。なので、またいいシーズンにしたいですね」と自らに期待した。 2024.02.08 05:00 Thu

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす
