レディングがスタム監督を解任、チャンピオンシップで降格圏の20位に沈む

▽チャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部)のレディングは21日、ヤープ・スタム監督(45)を解任したことを発表した。

▽現役時代にマンチェスター・ユナイテッドやミラン、ラツィオといったクラブで活躍したオランダ代表DFのスタム氏は、2016年6月にレディングの監督に就任。監督業初挑戦となった昨シーズンはレディングを3位に導き、昇格プレーオフ決勝を戦っていた。

▽しかし、今季はここまで20位に沈み、降格圏に位置。ここ18試合でわずか1勝と泥沼状態に陥っていた。

ギャンブル依存症、違法賭博関与で10カ月出場停止中のトナーリにFAが出場停止処分…スキャンダル発覚までの移籍後わずか2カ月で50件の賭博行為を認める

イングランドサッカー協会(FA)は2日、ニューカッスルのイタリア代表MFサンドロ・トナーリに対し、FAの賭博規則を違反したとして制裁を科すことを発表した。トナーリはミランからニューカッスルへ5500万ポンド(約100億1000万円)で今シーズン加入。大きな期待が寄せられ、20年ぶりにチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)を戦うチームにとっても大きな補強になると考えられた。プレミアリーグで8試合1ゴール、CLで3試合出場、カラバオカップ(EFLカップ)で1試合に出場していた中、2023年10月にイタリアサッカー界を揺るがす違法賭博のスキャンダルが発覚。その後、ギャンブル依存症であることを告白し、ミラン時代にはミランの試合にも賭けるなどしていたことを供述していた。その後、イタリアサッカー連盟(FIGC)が賭博に対して10カ月の出場停止措置を下すと、国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)もこれを承認し、トナーリの出場停止が確定した。現在もプレーできていないトナーリだが、ギャンブル依存症だったこともあり、移籍後も賭博行為に及んでいた。 FAによれば、トナーリは2023年8月12日から10月12日までの間にサッカーの試合に賭けていたことが発覚。FAは選手の賭博行為に関して規制しており、これに違反。50件の違反行為に対し、トナーリ本人も認めたという。これにより、FAは2カ月の出場停止処分を科すことを決定。ただし、2024-25シーズンが終了するまでにFAの賭博規則に違反しなければ処分が停止に。また、2万ポンド(約385万円)の罰金と警告も同様のルールとなる。 2024.05.03 00:10 Fri

三笘薫のブライトン、デ・ゼルビ監督退任ならプレミア昇格迫るイプスウィッチの指揮官招へいを狙う
