元ユナイテッドMFヤヌザイ、キャリアの転機に恨み節「彼は選手を1億ポンドで購入したかった」
レアル・ソシエダのベルギー代表MFアドナン・ヤヌザイが、古巣との対戦を前に過去を回想した。イギリス『BBC』が伝えた。 ソシエダは18日にヨーロッパリーグ(EL)ラウンド32・1stレグでユナイテッドと対戦。ヤヌザイにとっては古巣との大事な一戦となる。 2017年7月からソシエダでプレーするヤヌザイだが、アンデルレヒトのユースからマンチェスター・ユナイテッドのアカデミーに入団。2013年7月にファーストチームに昇格すると、ドルトムントやサンダーランドへのレンタル移籍を経て、ソシエダに加入した。 サー・アレックス・ファーガソン監督の下でもその能力が評価されていたヤヌザイは、デイビッド・モイーズ監督の下、2013-14シーズンにレギュラーとしてプレー。将来が明るいものと思われていた。 しかし、モイーズ監督が解任されると、ルイス・ファン・ハール氏が後任監督に就任。そこで運命が大きく変わってしまった。 ヤヌザイは当時を振り返り「ファン・ハールは経験豊富な選手を望んでいた。彼は選手を1億ポンド(約146億6000万円)で購入したかったんだ」と苦言。ファン・ハール監督からの信頼はなかったとした。 「僕に必要だったのは、僕を信じてくれる監督だけだった。モイーズが去った後、僕はあまりプレーしていなくて難しかった」 「1つの試合でプレーすると、次の試合はベンチに座り続け、次のゲームを戦うと、6試合もベンチに座った」 「プレーしたいと思っていた若い頃にベンチに座り続け、自分の素晴らしさをみんなに見せられないことは難しかった」 「3人の監督(ウォーレンン・ジョイス、サー・アレックス・ファーガソン、デイビッド・モイーズ)は、大好きなクラブでプレーするために手助けしてくれた。それから、別の人たちが来たんだ」 そのヤヌザイだが、後悔していることがあるとコメント。ファン・ハール監督が就任した際にチームを去るべきだったとした。 「僕が唯一後悔していることは、ファン・ハールが来た19歳の時に、クラブを離れてどこか別の場所に行ってサッカーを楽しむべきだったということだ」 「彼らは僕を手放したくなかった。僕をローンすることを望んでいた。でも、ローンで何処かに行く事は難しかった」 その後、ジョゼ・モウリーニョ監督が就任したユナイテッドだが、ヤヌザイはソシエダへと活躍の場を求め、現在は主力としてプレーしている。 ユナイテッドとの対戦ではかつての仲間とも再会できる場であり、フランス代表MFポール・ポグバが最も仲が良かったとコメント。しかし、ピッチに立てば友達ではないとした。 「彼は今まで会った中で最も親切な1人だった。彼はいつもハッピーで、人々を幸せにし、いつも笑顔だ。クラブの周りに彼のような人がいる事は重要だ」 「大好きなチーム、すべてのクラスでプレーしたチームに戻る事は素晴らしい。そこにはたくさんの友人がいるけど、一度ピッチに立てば友人ではない」 1stレグはスペインがイングランドからの渡航制限を敷いているためにイタリアで開催されることに。2ndレグではマンチェスターを訪ねる予定となっているが、素晴らしいことになると語った。 「素晴らしいことになる。街の人々も素晴らしいし、僕はイギリスに戻るのが大好きだ」 「自分がキャリアを始めたところに戻るのは素晴らしい気分だよ」 2021.02.18 16:18 Thu

イニエスタが19年前のバルセロナデビューを回顧、海外からは「監督になって」の声も

無冠煽り、相手選手の模倣…プレミアリーグでは批判的・嘲笑的なゴールセレブレーションへの処罰が厳格に?

アレクサンダー=アーノルドが刺殺された12歳の少女へ哀悼の意「RIP AVA WHITE」
