▽スウェーデン代表は10日、ホームで行われたロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)欧州予選プレーオフ1stレグ、イタリア代表戦を1-0で先勝した。同試合後、スウェーデンの主将を務めるDFアンドレアス・グランクヴィストは「信じられない試合」と、チームの見せたパフォーマンスを称賛した。『スカイ・スポルト・イタリア』が伝えている。

▽イタリアの強力攻撃陣を封じ切ったグランクヴィストは、チームのパフォーマンスを称賛。その一方で、13日の2ndレグがよりタフなゲームになると主張している。

「本当に信じられない試合だった」

「もちろん、ミラノでの2ndレグは非常に難しい試合になると思っている。だけど、今日の勝利にとても満足しているよ。とにかく、本大会出場に向けてベストを尽くすつもりだ」

▽また、グランクヴィストは、同試合で対戦相手のDFレオナルド・ボヌッチが、自身とFWオラ・トイヴォネンから受けたエルボーによって鼻骨を骨折したと主張したことに関しては以下のように語っている。

「今までで最も酷い」「複雑な気持ち」太陽をイメージしたスウェーデン代表の新ユニフォームが大不評「一体どうすればこんなにも間違うのか」
