「マノロ・エル・デル・ボンボ(太鼓のマノロ)」の愛称で親しまれているマノロさん。1979年にスペイン代表の試合を初観戦して以来、ほとんどの代表戦に観戦に訪れている。
スペイン代表は現在、カタルーニャの独立問題に揺れている。独立の賛否を問う住民投票に足を運び、スペイン中央政府のやり方を非難したバルセロナDFジェラール・ピケには、練習中に指笛や罵声が浴びせられた。
スペイン代表は6日に行われるロシア・ワールドカップ欧州予選グループG、アリカンテに拠を構える本拠地リコ・ペレスで、アルバニアと対戦する。試合を控え、アリカンテに前泊したスペイン代表の選手たちだが、滞在先のホテル前にサポーターが詰め掛け、ここでもピケに厳しい言葉を浴びせようとした。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「99%の希望を失った」スペインの名医がガビの負傷に言及「劇的な状況になってしまう」、原因は「選手の試合数」

「僕はスペイン人」18歳ハイセンが母国オランダに決別…2月にスペイン国籍取得でU-21代表デビュー
ローマDFディーン・ハイセン(18)が自らのアイデンティティを語った。オランダ『Voetbal International』が伝えている。 セリエAでメキメキ頭角を表す197cmの両利きセンターバック・ハイセン。16歳でマラガからユベントスへ移籍し、トップ昇格の今季は後半戦からローマへ武者修行…順調に出場機会を得ている。 そんなハイセン、U-17オランダ代表の一員として2022年にU-17欧州選手権準優勝などなど、これまでは世代別オランダ代表の常連。 しかし、今回の代表ウィークはU-21スペイン代表に招集…元アヤックスの父ドン・ハイセン氏を含めて一家揃ってオランダ出身だが、自身が5歳の時にスペイン・アンダルシア州へ移住し、今年2月にはスペイン国籍を取得しているのだ。 そして、21日に行われたU-21スロバキア代表との国際親善試合でラ・ロヒタ(世代別スペイン代表の愛称)デビュー。スペイン『マルカ』のインタビューでは「僕はスペイン人」と明言した。 「そうだね。僕は自分がスペイン人だと感じているよ。5歳からマラガで育ち、今回スペイン代表の一員になれて嬉しい。いずれスペイン代表でトロフィーを勝ち取りたいよ」 ハイセンをDFヴィルヒル・ファン・ダイクやDFステファン・デ・フライ、DFマタイス・デ・リフトらに続く新時代のディフェンスリーダーと捉えていたオランダ側から見れば、今回の所信表明は痛い。 2024.03.26 16:35 Tue
