元日本代表DF岩政大樹、15年間の現役生活に幕
▽関東リーグ1部の東京ユナイテッドFCは22日、元日本代表DF岩政大樹(36)の現役引退を発表した。 ▽東京学芸大学在学時にFC東京の特別指定選手だった岩政は、2004年に鹿島アントラーズに入団。常勝軍団を後方から支え続け、2007シーズンから2009シーズンにはJ1リーグ3連覇を成し遂げたほか、数々のタイトルを獲得した。その後、10年間過ごした鹿島を退団し、2014年にタイ・プレミアリーグのテロ・サーサナFCでプレーした後、ファジアーノ岡山を経て、2017年に東京ユナイテッドFCへ選手兼コーチとして加入していた。 ▽また、2009年10月にデビューを飾った日本代表では8試合出場。出場機会はなかったが、2010年には南アフリカ・ワールドカップのメンバーにも選出された。2011年のアジアカップでは4試合に出場して優勝に貢献した。 ▽15年間の現役生活にピリオドを打った岩政は、クラブ公式サイトで以下のようにコメントしている。 「私は今シーズン限りで引退します。2年間ありがとうございました」 「私が現役最後のクラブとして選んだ東京ユナイテッドというクラブ、私が最後のチームメイトとして選んだ東京ユナイテッドのみんなを、次のステージに届けてあげられなかったことには本当に申し訳なく思っています。精一杯、そのときにできる自分のありったけで向かってきた2年間でしたので、悔いはありませんが、同時にそれはつまり私の力不足だということで、その現実を今はしっかりと受け止めようと思っています」 「ただ、2年前に東京ユナイテッドを選んだ、あのときの決断を今『良かった』と振り返ることができていること。支え、応援してくださった皆様にいっぱいの『ありがとうございました』をお伝えしたいこと。それを最後にここに記させてください」 「ここに来て、ここで終えられて、良かったです。ありがとうございました」 2018.10.22 13:25 Mon
